- Camper Van: Make it Home is a lovely cozy game about exploring a camper van and putting all of our personal belongings into it.
In this demo we've parked our van in a very pretty meadow and we get to take a look around inside. We can open drawers and cupboards, we can open up the little fridge and there are even a few secret things we find that surprise us when we click on them!
Our main job is to put all of our items into the camper van. We select items from different categories, such as kitchen items, toiletries and clothes, and we have to find suitable places for them to go! (Yes, it's a bit like Unpacking, which is fantastic!) The issue is that we're in a camper van which means space is limited!
Where do we put the big toaster? Do the toilet rolls go into a cupboard? And why did we bring this massive paella dish with us?!
There's also environmental storytelling going on. Who are we? Why are we in this camper van? Where are we going?

This satisfying game invites you to create your own home space in a van combining elements of block organization puzzle games and interior design. Decorate and organize all your objects while you discover step by step what led our protagonist to embark on this journey.
Convertible Furniture: explore the secret corners of the van and interact with the pieces of furniture to find out all the possibilities they have to offer.
Zen Puzzle: feel the satisfaction of organizing all the items in your luggage. Find the ideal place where each object fits perfectly, or experiment with them randomly. Play at your own pace, and without pressure.
Interactive Objects: let yourself be amazed by the interactive objects in the van. Take your time and discover the surprises they hide.
Missions: advance on your journey and obtain new vans to decorate. In addition to the interior, you can design a cozy outside area matching your destination.
Destinations: adapt the van to the different destinations of your journey. Explore the typical landscapes of the van life and travel to the beach, visit a snowy location, the forest, and cliffs during the different stages of the journey.
Pets: interact with a very special fellow traveler. Live the journey differently thanks to the company of a pet which will show you another way to love. In addition, you will be able to pet your friend!

I lived in a camper for almost an year. In response to your question about how the oil and flour etc. doesn't fly around, you put it where you stored the underwear. And well... your camper is a rolling safety hazard :D But just let's assume you stay there for a while and you'll pack everything right if you start the journey again.
the weird mat thing reminds me of the basket bases we had that fit paper plates, sturdy enough to carry one handed, but you could still compost the plates instead of wasting tank water doing dishes.
also, deep plates / shallow bowls are useful as plates when eating on a boat or while someone is driving.
My parents had a caravan, and all of the cupboards and drawers had magnets on them to keep them closed during transport. They also kept loose items in boxes and baskets inside the cupboards to keep them from sliding around. Their caravan had a proper little toilet stall though. Not just a box in a drawer. That's horrifying. 😆
Also the "bigger lipstick" was definitely mascara. You could see a picture of eyelashes on the side of it when you moved it later in the video. 😉

I wouldn't have thought it was an essential piece of equipment when space is limited!
That were quite a lot of thingamabobs and thingamajigs you have creatively jiggled into various nooks and crannies.
I love your choice of cozy, relaxing "puzzle" games, and the way you tell stories while playing them. UwU

Maybe the mats were place mats, and they could have gone on the table. But I'm not sure how that would work with the table folded down.

I suspect the kitchen towel goes on the rail to the upper left of the kitchen area.
You'd think so, but no! It doesn't. I had to go back in and play again to create the thumbnail image and I tried to put the kitchen towel there but that's not where it goes apparently. It did hang up on one of the hanger things though, which it didn't do in the video!

So that is a portable loo. So really its a “modern chamber pot” if you will. Ok for wees but uhhh number 2 i dont enjoy.
You need a loo to be classified as a ‘self contained vehicle’.
In my country however the toilets need to be “fixed” so that means this campervan is not considered to be self contained.

I will say some of those items were questionable. Who would bring those huge items in a campervan 😂😂 but it seems like the lady is going Glamping. Glamourous camping as you can see the fancy white tents.
Personally i would put my guitar in the passenger seat.
Let's hope the game developers put a little lightbulb icon somewhere that would highlight the area they planned for items to go. It would be a nice way of providing hints to those who want them and still be out of the way of those who don't like hints.

Omg I don't know if it's because the controls were a bit fiddly to use but I didn't find the bog, bed or the draw under the oven when I played it... and now it makes sense why I didn't have a great time when playing as I had to keep moving stuff around to fit things when I didn't have too. 😅
And then Penge meets Anoia, the ancient godess of the things stuck in drawers...
