- Intravenous Review - Intravenous is back on the channel for a second time - well... technically the third.
Several months back I got to play an early build of the game, but now that it's done, I finally get to take a look at the whole thing.
And I am VERY impressed.
I'm not a big fan of top-down shooters, nor of stealth games, but Intravenous is definitely one that stands out among all the others.
If you liked Hotline Miami, the original Splinter Cell games, or are just a fan of hardcore games in general, Intravenous is 100% worth checking out.

Great review! Cant believe the time has come for that game to release. Hope that Intravenous will succeed sale-wise, Roman put his heart and soul into this one.
I gotta say, I'm really glad I found this channel. That voice is so professional and honestly? Really soothing. I'm going to presume that you had to practice such a stellar tone, and the effort shows. Plus the videos aren't too slow, the editing is pretty darn good, and the points brought up aren't asinine or *"You shoot the enemy with your gun. Guns kill enemies if you shoot them enough"* levels or trash. Every video features important, *relative* information relevant to each game... I like it. I like it a lot.
Keep up the good work, dude.
and the review don't have out of place cheesy joke or pun . i actually can tell if the game is good for me and i will not be shocked to find out it bad after buying , because this review is informative .

I follow Xtrullor on YT, and suddenly he popped up with a GANG of music after 2 years of silence.
Im seeing its all an actual soundtrack for "some game" called Intravenous. This lead me to here.

I absolutely love this game. I feel like their should have been a human shield/ interrogate feature like in old splinter cell. But hopefully Roman will be successful and possibly make another game.
Intravenous 2 is confirmed to be in development.

this game is so underrated. i havent been so stressed while playing a videogame for a long time. thanks for the video and i really hope developer will pay some big youtubers to play the game and Intravenous would get some attention

Good thing there is a patch that fix the knife. Oh boy it was confusing on how to properly use it. I hope to see how the level editor and mod support would look for the game.

How long is the campaign?
Can you play with a controller?
The campaign in the context of the number of missions isn't very long at all, but the difficulty of the game makes each mission (for me) take 20 minutes to an hour... sometimes more lol.
And since you can do every mission an infinite number of ways, as well as them being fairly long, there's a lot of replay value without ever feeling like you're just doing the same thing over and over.
There isn't any controller support at all and I don't believe there ever will be - the dev himself said that he doesn't own consoles or controllers so he wouldn't be able to properly implement them in a way that feels good.
Could you pls do Starsector or Underrail?

It's not really a callback to splinter cell. Splinter cell wasn't focused on combat at all. At least not until they changed it around for conviction and then blacklist (which was still a good stealth game and a fairly decent addition to the series) anyway.
Boy oh boi. This year is at least good with stealth-action titles. HITMAN II, now this and later Aragami 2. Finally something for a boomer who won't consider stealth in @ss Creed as good. Not to say about lame power fantasy in games like Far Cry.
