Zlata Ognevich will represent Ukraine with the song Gravity at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö.
A combination of sms-voting and an expert jury decided that Zlata Ognevich is a worthy representative of Ukraine in Malmö! The Ukrainian final was presented by Timur Myroshnychenko, Tetyana Vozheva and Tetyana Goncharova.
19 contestants were fighting to win the ticket of representing Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. They delivered entertaining stage acts and sang in English, Russian and Ukrainian. - Zábava

Just watched a rerun of Eurovision 2013 and needed to say Zlata is an amazing singer and beautiful woman. How has she not represented Ukraine again? If Ruslana and Jamala can win, Zlata deserves to win! Can any Ukrainians confirm is she is still releasing music? Such an amazing talent! My only gripe with the song is the abrupt/cheesy ending, it should’ve ended on belt note! 🤘🏼

Weeeell, here's another Eurovision artist who sounds way better live...BUT I have to say this video is really spot on, like, this is EXACTLY the kind of images that came to my mind while listening to the song
Kroptorn Veltino you know, I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but to my ears Loreen sounds so much better live.
And I have always thought it was so weird, as you said it's usually the other way round..but not with her.
I can't even listen to the studio version of Euphoria, I find it terrible, flat, and she literally sounds like she has swallowed the autotune effect xD while the live version of it is one of my favourite things ever, she sounds so talented and powerful...and same goes for all her other songs..it's odd indeed
I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing though, at least it shows us how good they *really* are with their voices
But still it makes me wonder what happens in the studio that ruins their voices like that xD

This is a stunner. The bravura vocals aside, the sheer oddness of the harmonies is impressive. It doesn't have any fixed centre of harmonic *gravity* - there's really nothing you'd want to call a 'tonic' or 'I' or 'home key' here. The verses loop vi-IV-Vsus, then repeat as the new (implied) 1 ('I' becoming a new 'vi'), which catapults you into the chorus. The chorus is a sequence of vi-ii-V cadences, the implied 'I' of the preceding 'V' becoming in turn (by changing it from major to minor) a new 'vi' of a new 'vi-ii-V' cadence. This keeps moving, shifting you cyclically through temporary key centres which only resolve into new temporary key centres... At no point does it settle on a secure tonic or home key, it just launches itself headlong into a cascade of cyclically modulating cadential figures that never fully resolve, a spinning harmonic wheel. Genius really. Totally love it.

I sometimes fell like "We are one" was a logo of ESC 2013 so NTU decided to give Zlata "Gravity" and Sofia (JESC 2013) "We are one" swaping languages a bit. Because "Gravity" looks more like song from JESC, when "We are one" could be easily used on ESC. What doesn't make no of this songs worse
