Tama si Chua that S74 lineup has the greatest chance to defeat the 14-0 lineup pero kiefer is still a rookie that time, I'm not sure pero wala ata si buenafe sa roster that time? Greg just came out of residency so may konting kalawang pa. I think roster-to-roster mas magaling pa din yung 14-0 team pero pag icombine yung buong 5-peat roster that's the only time they will surely beat the current team
The 5-peat roster was surely better. Mas mukang mga manong players back then compared to today. Greg Slaughter will still do better than the young Ange Koumae. Chris Chiu will do better than Nieto. Madaming manong sa roster na un. Bata pa kasi 14-0 Ateneo but that still makes them legendary

I still remember when I was a kid, nung nagkaroon ng 5-peat ang Ateneo, halos nag-celebrate buong school namin. I live in Davao and study at Ateneo de Davao University. Sobrang proud kami as atenista nung last championship nila tapos ang daming souvenirs sa canteen namin lol. Kahit iba na ang sistema ng Ateneo ngayon, the 5-peat team will remain legendary. The most solid lineup in the history of UAAP.

It’s amazing that Poy Erram is having a better pro career than all his Ateneo teammates. Well, except maybe for Slaughter (at the moment).

14-0 Ateneo any day of the week. They're the most cohesive ADMU team of all time. Hindi lang nila tinalo ang Taiwan sa Jones Cup, they also beat UP(arguably the most talent-stacked team of the decade) twice 20+ points both times. And the fact that they utterly crush their opponents says it all.

For me as long as DLSU has a Jeron Teng (generational star players ala Ray Parks, Kiefer, Romeo) next to Mbala, DLSU can handle Admu. Especially with Ayo at the helm.
You can have Mbala all you want but if he’s alone it makes defenses easier to lock him up. Having the threat of Jeron driving the lanes and Mbala inside gave the shooters of DLSU space
Yung lineup na yun yung weakest ateneo lineup na hinawakan ni coach tab and as far as I remember natalo nila lasalle nun and may games na close fight and a game na tambak ateneo so I think against the 14-0 lineup advantage na yung ateneo
Nung season 79 natalo ng ateneo team ang lasalle with jeron in it. At kahit nung finals, natalo man ateneo, eh ilang points lang yung agwat ng lasalle. So di rin. Keri pa rin ng ateneo ang lasalle with jeron. Siguro 50/50 pa. At exciting siguro ng game na yun pag nangyari.

There might be a difference with import and without import,but you cannot say that the import is the reason why ateneo and beda are in the top of their respective program. Just so you know, ateneo is a team-play.All of them have their own contribution to the team.
Thats what you CHOOSE to believe because again it's YOUR school. But the moment you set that aside and look at the facts and the records, you will find the quite unacceptable truth: ateneo is weak as an All-Filipino team.
