- A new, patented crimp-style fitting system makes inherently reliable braided steel hose assemblies. It extends hose life, as no heat is applied to the metal and resists corrosion more than welded assemblies. The Crimp-Tite™ process eliminates welding & associated costs and achieves faster production with consistent results, delivering a premium-grade hose solution at considerable cost savings compared to using non-metallic or fluoropolymer plastic products.
Don't know how many times i will watch the video but music its cool !

supplying more than 2000 kinds of marine products, such as FIFI system, fire monitor, lifeboat&davit, marine winch, windlass, anchor, anchor chains and other safety equipment &outfitting equipment etc.
Most likely the seal will fill the voids between the connector and the metal braiding. I presume that since there wasn't a lot of force used to press the connector onto the hose.

Defeats the whole purpose of a metal hose by adding a rubber gasket to seal the fitting onto the hose.
Why? Some polymers can withstand really high temps.
Don't these flexible metal hoses have a rubber lining ?
Can it withstand 1300 PSI steam pressure? Its vapor quality is 80% and its effectiveness under different operating conditions
where is the website to this video? i want to buy these type of hoses and the dies
What is the seal material u r used?
may someone could let me know where I could find this set
What kind of hose is It?
oh yes, just instead of a welding machine you need a crimping machine, small investment
Crimping machine is more expensive hehehe
do you need to weld these after you crimp them?

What is the working temperature and pressure like comparing to welded type?
Yes, I am asking same question too, is anyone knows? I used to assembled metallic hoses by welding.

This guys has been commissioned to supply the U.S. Navy and USCG with hi temperature and pressure hoses to deal with up to 250,000 psi of steam pressure from boilers . This guy's are no joke, dude

What are we all going to do for work when 99% of manufacturing is automated? You'll only need one, maybe two people for an entire facility. Meanwhile, only other thing we can do is be farmers and they are making that more and more illegal. I see the old Russia coming to America. Just the same, I do like the process in the video.

It was rhetorical comment based on one number, 99%.
looks pretty cheap... for how much psi are these hoses rated?
fuck your profile pick! hahaha
It might look cheese but this guys are military contractors for the U.S. Navy and the USCG so I don't think they are any cheap.
