    I hate this. I can't do anything but research personality types now and how we all interact. How about developing a simulation where you put personality types together and let that interaction play out in different situations? Say an ESTJ and an INFJ out on a date....offer different dating scenarios...how would they all play out? haha. I'm not smart enough to develop my ideas. Somebody work on that for me, wouldja?

    The aim of these videos are to provide an overview of typology. I likely will have more videos in the future that delve into those specific topics. However, if original views/theories are something you are interested in I would encourage you to create some of your own videos on the topic. Whether its on Jungian functions, Socionics, Enneagram, or another a mix of those I'd be interested in checking it out.

    @Grimeaper Před 10 lety +5

    Ok, am I the only one who can take an engine and put it in my head as a picture and picture it alone working, and rotate it. I really only have a general concept of an engine so it is not as detailed more like a v 6 and the cylinders are pumping in the way they are supposed to (in sync I hate using those words together I think of the band) yes I can see the combustions happening and I can even tear it down into an explosive diagram, I am doing all those things as I am typing is this normal? It has a white background, and the engine is floating in thin air working, and if I zoom out some there is a ghostly image of a red car hmm... now the hood shuts and the car comes fully opaque and it is a squarish old model car (I am not good with make, models etc. memorizing them) sorry. Is this what it is like with everyone else, I really want to know, like when I look at a soda can sometimes well anytime if I choose I can see it separated as in the can with the dye on it, then without dye which would just be silver then I can see a cut in half version along with the liquid in it, I am a really big visual person, is this normal (I even can approximate how much liquid there is in it and get it right)? I honestly have no clue I just am discovering myself and I was wondering am I alone on this one. I do this with a lot of stuff actually I can do it with almost anything as long as I have a general concept. I can also make a reasonable visual prediction of stuff ricocheting etc. though not mathematically I usually make 3 assumptions in my head a 4th which is an average and a 5th which is a really bizarre circumstance one and everything falls within it one of those options, I have issues with this it makes the world grey to me bland predictable. I suck at not rambling as you can tell and I am not very coherent right now but I am really curious about this. I sometimes go people watching when I get really bored I like to go to stores stand in a corner and just watch people for a little while, I can get dangerous bored as in I am willing to do anything to get rid of it usually that ends in pain, hence the name dangerous boredom it's like an itch in my brain I can't get rid of. I also have learned a lesson in love, trying to look at it logically hurts I am a dog chasing my tail I honestly have no fucking clue I am up and down in emotions I mean I seriously have no fucking idea and this girl is beyond awesome, usually girls are 2d bland and just about the same this one she is 3D and just off the walls great, and I am really flubbing it up, and I cannot read her or anything (Though I have now sent her a video explaining me and she is really smart so she should be able to understand what is wrong/right about me). Sorry, I am just fucking curious as hell as to if I am alone with this stuff, I mean all these years with my issues that feel like a curse because of the way it is information overload over analyzing every goddamn thing I am now legit curious as hell. Now that I started talking about dissecting stuff per se I can't stop doing it with everything around me. Welp this is annoying I need to go watch something else til my brain calms down.

      Nicola Tesla could do the 3D visualization in his mind and claimed it felt indistinguishable from reality (he was a genius). You are the inventor side of a INTP. For me I want to understand things on a fundamental scale and get frustrated when secondary sources misrepresent what actually happens during the experiment, like for example the quantum entanglement experiment. I am not very good at visualizing things, I think I might actually be worse than the average person. I pulled apart my chest of draws in my mind but I could not rotate or zoom in and out nor can I do moving animations (unless they are very short), that might be a higher level of visualization. How ever when I think about ideas I usually think with a combination of words and images which can make explaining my ideas quite difficult because I have to translate the images into words. Usually the images combine many aspects of a single idea, I almost think of it as a whole and don't know where to start when explaining it. Like when I try to explain an image all I can think is galaxy-light-gravity-acceleration-distance (this is for one of my hypotheses for dark matter) as a WHOLE and do not know what part I start at. For this image in particular I see just see an ordinary galaxy I associate those 5 words with it and I immediately know what I am referring to.
      You talked about how you cannot stand boredom. I have the same problem but the only difference is I am almost never bored. All I have to do is zone out and think of one of my hypotheses or something else lol. But it becomes a problem when I have to do work that demands focus. I get like a rush of stress and I just have to stand up and walk around to make the feeling go away. I have to do an assessment right now and even just thinking about it causes me to have this rush of stress. It is also hell when I force myself to do it because I frequently zone out to escape the boredom and I will frequently forget what I read because I am not giving the work enough attention. I play study music and have a fan on when I work on it. The fan keeps me cool and reduces the feeling of stress and the study music helps block random thoughts from coming in.
      You may want to use the study music, here is the video I like to use (It requires headphones)

    Did you read your comment before posting? I didn't think so. You clearly misread my comment because never did I say personality psychology is wrong(or right) and never did i say that it is bad. I am fascinated by Jungian Typologies and analytical psychology, i'm obsessed with it. I am upset that this person in his SINGLE video has only stated things listed on wiki. See i'm mad that he is providing no new info but claims it grows personality. And you said i'm emotional then proceeded to insult?

    @Trecesolotienesdos Před 10 lety +3

    lulzz.. I think most people of types don't like it when people attack their values.
    go tell a vegan that s/he's a dope for not eating animal produce, i'd bet an ENTJ, an ESFP, an ISTJ, an INTP, whatever would ALL get offended haha..
    also, logic and emotion go hand in hand. only a fool says one is better than the other.

    • @blurryimage4585
      @blurryimage4585 Před 10 lety +3

      You are very right when saying that logic and emotion need to go hand in hand, and that they are both equally valuable. Majority of people would agree. Still, there is a difference in the way we reach this same conclusion. I know - mentally - that they are both equal, because I wouldn´t see the deeper logical sense of having them both, if one was less valuable. But still, I needed to come to that conclusion by a little piece of reasoning because I don´t feel it from the beginning. As soon as I think they are both equally important, I will also get some vague feeling about it, which I won´t be able to realize in a more nuanced way. Someone who is rather a feeler and integrates cerebral and limbic processing much better, will feel right away how emotion and logic are both needed, and will feel it in a much more differentiated way. And they will just know it, understand it in complex emotions, not necessarily needing to explain it terms of mental consistency.
      So, it is the same like with a gender, it would be stupid to say plainly one gender is better than the other, but everyone personally still needs to be one or the other.

Seems like thats justification for my claims that you are reading wikipedia and calling it your own "personality growth" help, when you actually offer no advice on growth you just state what others have already said. You wouldn't delete my comments if you knew this statement was false but you know it's true and hate being called out on it because you think you're special and the only one who figured out Carl Jungs typology.
