This anime was great until 4kids made a dub that included so many unnecessary changes to the original version.
Like no M-rated characters, final smashes shortened for time, and don't even get me started on Kirby's voice!
Gotta admit, they stayed pretty faithful to the original song though. It was no One Piece Rap, that’s for sure!

Honestly, this song sounds good in both English and Japanese. With that being said, nintendo did a great job with this masterpiece of a game.
Still maybe the best graphics/visuals on the Switch with the best perfomance and orchestra.

"Lifelight" is perfect example how song doesn't actually work when it's translated/dubbed without rearrangement.
Japanese is systematic-syllabic language, english isn't, so they just stuffed the translated lyrics into the melody and hoped for the best...
Both versions good! Same with the Fire Emblem Three Houses theme.
Well everything is better in Japan, let's be honest.

Fun fact, the lady singing the lyrics is the same one that sang for the Japanese anime of Kirby
For the few people wondering, the Japanese name of the game was Special. "Ultimate" is a thing we got in the west.

Many fans will hate me for this, but it's my anime opinion.
The World of Light Saga, is way better than the Subspace emissary Saga.
In terms of the fights, I agree, but the Subspace Saga had a far better story. Alot of people hate how slow the story was (i can't blame them after the multishine saga) but i like a plot heavy story

I have seen great things in my life. But this is just perfection
I hate this intro so much, the intro spoiled like the entire anime for me. There's way too many scenes in it revealing major plot points, honestly the intro ruined the whole anime for me because of that simple mistake they made on the intro.
You should read the manga instead.

This was so fun to watch. I keep hoping for a second season. They introduced so many new characters in the last couple episodes but they barely got any time on screen. The Subspace arc was definitely my favorite. There weren't as many characters, but the final fight scene was the most satisfying I have ever seen.

Goodness the Light Arc threw me in a twist I did not expect. I also read the waluigi side story and It kinda filled in a few potholes for me!
Waluigi's origin story that shows how he became an assist trophy. Very epic.

@Cataru Moore I saw Dragon Ball super in both the finished Sub and the still ongoing Dub. Sub!Goku is more faithful to the source material, but Dub!Goku is awesome in his own right.
