Colorism is stupid asf especially when black people do it. As a mixed person I can tell you that in an asian household all of you are considered dark skin. And I'm sure it's the same in other cultures. I am considered very "light skinned" by my black side being told I'm a pretty light skin. Yet I remember at 5yrs old my grandma rubbing bleaching lotion on me and my cousin telling her. "You don't want to be dark like her (me) huh?
