With this one though he’s dedicating it to God as love song and like the chorus explains it’s him having an evening drive with God and talking with him. “Tough Intermission” is the most speaking, emotional song of the album. It really hits different when you know the backstory. To me this album is a perfect sequel for HEATHEN, especially this song and “I’m Fine”

This album is so personal, I feel how Gawvi felt about his mistakes and how he tried to get closer to God. Temple and tough intermission really touched my heart, but I love temple.
