I have always wanted to visit Valletta. My sister went a few years ago and loved it. Maybe when I have more money I will go. I just wish that our cultures were not being destroyed and our nations stolen from us by the EU. It is time the people had their say. As a child, my Maltese father-in-law stepped on a balcony after a bombardment - and fell down several stories. For example, 2% of the Dutch population died during WW2. What was the percentage for Malta? It follows the pattern of the Maltese newspapers, that have a very small section of foreign news, and large sections of local news and letters to the editor. So hard in search of an identity, that you forget what else is out there.

So I give the example of Poland in WW2, where one in every six Polish citizens died. Not Jews that were killed on Polish soil, but people who had Polish citizenship at the start of the war. And Malta may be the most bombed country in WW2, but Laos got more bombs, both per capita and per square kilometer, in the Vietnam war. So who suffered most?
