- Fourth fight on Chonkiv's road to victory at NHRL's April 20th 30lb BattleBots tournament. This fight is the semifinal fight between Chonkiv and MegatRON. Chonkiv and MegatRON fought previously at NHRL's April 20th tournament, resulting in Chonkiv suddenly combusting.

The fact that anything on Megatron worked at the end of this is a testament to how well it's put together. That build quality compared to the damage it took also speaks to how much energy is in that shell.

Indeed! It still could barely "walk", and its weapon was spinning after all that abuse and damage. It should get the Monte Python Black Knight award.

You know things were getting desperate when MegatRON was trying to push its dismembered wedge into Chonkiv.
Pure dominance right there and quite the redemption for the first fight.
That's a clever idea, Duck-esque, it just didn't happen to work.
It's the year of the shell spinner! I've never seen Megatron take that much damage.
Something about megatron reminded me of the final scenes of the original terminator movie. Only one arm functioning that machine didnt give up, kept dragging itself after the target

Wow, that has got to be the most damaged Megatron has been in a match. I never would have guessed that Chonkiv was a shuffler with how fast and smooth it drove.
Shell spinners are SO BACK

Talk about an upset! I'm sure everyone lost their minds watching this.
I've had this idea for a fighting rc robot built using three key parts a electric wheelchair the sheet metal casing from a top load washer and two hq steering servos to move the stick control along with the rc car electronics and a hand truck frame as the beater bar and weld several sledge hammer heads on the handle and tall enough indestructible wheels to basically a hammer with wheels on the end of the handle
Those are some nasty hits! what rpm does that shell spin at?
Based off NHRL rules, The outermost part of that robot cannot be traveling at more than 250 Miles an hour, So we would need to know its diameter to figure out the RPM, but based off some of those hits I suspect it's getting pretty close to that speed and that is not a light robot, I suspect most of the damage doesn't come from the speed of the weapon, it's the momentum of the weapon

The fact that jamo lost in the 3lbs and the 30lbs to a bot with limited mobility in the same day is crazy to me
The saucer is a wonderful concept. But what's the pipe for?
The pipe on Chonkiv is its self righter. Without the bar, when flipped, Chonkiv would almost lie flat and have little chance to flip itself. With the bar, when flipped, Chonkiv will not lay flat, and is able to spin it’s weapon up to flip itself.
The pipe also shows which direction is the front and back of the bot while moving.
