Because this isn't your main career. And because you started this for fun. This channel is you. What you do what you are. But unlike others you make the videos for yourself. This is on the success ladder you hoped and dreamed to climb. So these videos stays authentic. This are raw and very real. And always reminds me of how CZcams used to be before it turned into a fully corporate company. These videos are something i watched the whole month to wind off. Relax and draw something whilst listening to it. And id have to thank you for that. Of almost all of the chaos in CZcams this is my personal breathing space
i started watching this channel when i was probably about 15 or 16, desperately seeking some sort of connection with people that i wasn't getting in my real life. like a lot of teenagers, i was pretty lonely and sad, so i filled my life with anything that could bring me joy. your channel always did that. now it's years later, and look at that, i just turned 22! i'm a full adult! and there are so few things i still love dearly from that time in my life, but this channel and the things you've created, carrie, is one of them. i'm not even a little bit involved in musical theater, i'm no actor and i don't sing and i haven't seen many musicals, but i've learned so much about it through your videos. even more, watching you love such a wonderful thing has made me love it too. i'm so grateful for that, for your willingness to share your loves and joys no matter what they are, because over these years, they've brought me love and joy too. all the best to you always.

I am surprised you lost so many subscribers! For me, your changing content has felt very natural. When I first started watching you it felt like you were my honorary big sister who was down the hall from me, there whenever I needed life advice or a good chat. Now I'm an adult, I feel more like you're my honorary big sister who's moved out of the house now and is there for a visit or a catch up when needed. It feel much more mature. I miss itswaypastmybedtime but I love Carrie Hope Fletcher just the same 😊💖

Carrie, my favourite videos of yours have always been the “big sister of the Internet” sit-down, chat to camera vlogs. That’s why I initially subscribed 5-6 years ago! I adore the musical theatre content, because I love musical theatre, and have tried my best to see you in every show you do. But May, Myself and I, or your take on Vlogmas or the every day project you did last year in January, they all have a special place in my heart, and are the videos I come back to the most frequently. Just thought you should know some of us love all of your content and just like hearing you chat to us on camera, like having a cuppa with a friend. 💜

I unsubscribe when I feel I've grown out of a channel, but a lot of the time I don't notice I'm not actively watching their content anymore until that channel posts a LOT in my sub box. The people who enjoy your videos won't have unsubscribed. It's probably just people who either never really watched or who have taken an interest in other content. The way I see it, losing subscribers is a good thing:)
Clellie Irwin I actually thought this myself as I have recently unsubscribed to a few youtubers who randomly decided to post more and I just wasn’t interested and forgot I was subscribed to them.
Has watched every episode and enjoy your content it's positive and inspiring, with all the shade and negativity on the Internet it is nice to have this haven of happiness to turn to thank you for your videos

I'm sorry some people didn't respond that well to May, Myself and I. I started watching you a few years back because I was really interested in your musical theatre content and then I just quickly started loving you as a person. That hasn't changed a bit, so I really enjoyed the extra content this month.
It's alway a bit of a bummer to lose subscribers or followers or something of the sorts, but there will alway be someone out there waiting for your videos. You were one of the first youtubers I watched on a regular basis, and I'll always look forward to see what's happening in your life and what you're talking about (as do many others!)💜

People's tastes change and that's life, your life changes so your audience changes, if you're on a dip right now that's ok! Because the people who are still here are here for all that your share and will welcome the new people that come in time.
I also agree with some of the other comments, CZcams is in it's own dip right now, unless you are a company or large artist of some kind. This type of content gets lost, which is a real shame.

Your videos are always a little bit of sunshine on a cloudy day Carrie, whether they are theatre-based or more like this! As long as you are yourself, you'll have a fanbase of people genuinely interested in you, who feel inspired and comforted by your content :)
All those people who unsubscribed were the ones who hadn't been watching anyway, and didn't want all the videos in their subscription lists. Just remember that there are also so many of us who have watched every minute of May Myself and I and absolutely loved it.

In a way, it's a positive thing that those people unsubscribed because it leaves the people who really care, which is still a huge amount of individuals! :D But of course the number isn't the main thing, like you said in the video, it's just a bit of a shock to the system. Perhaps the people that left had subscribed for a certain video type that you've "grown out of" while becoming who you are today, or maybe they've changed as people, with new preferences for content, rather than it being a negative reflection on you x

I loved what you've been doing for May. I truly value what you have to say as a person so having little sit downs with my coffee and feeling like I get to connect with you more is so nice. I honestly surprised people can unsubscribe just because of some daily videos. Those people weren't worth having as subscribers then anyway if they don't care for you as a person. I love your BTS of Heathers and all that but you are a more rounded person than just the characters you play. Thank you for doing this challenge for yourself. 'May, Myself and I' has been something that I've loved as like you I guess, I can no longer keep up with these current trends and fads that keep up popping up all over the place. Your series has literally been the thing of oh hey I can watch this! This is the best! Because it's lovely and sitty downy and I can put it in the background when I'm trying to revise and just need someone there. Thank you so much for plodding through and making this series as its been throughly enjoyable to watch you grow more as a person as you develop your running skills and express your thoughts on current events. It's honestly inspired me more to get into running as it's always been something I've shied away from in the past and maybe I will end up taking it up.
It was quite the change watching the vlogs go from busy backstage adventures in London Theatre mixed up with cameos of hilarious people to the month of May where it became more personalised and intimate. Your true fans are still here Carrie and they are excited to see what's next. ❤️

I must say, I've been watching your videos for years (literally, like 7-8 years?) and I like that variety! I like when you change up your video subjects to fit them to your life which to me is the best because it IS life! Life is ever changing and not always the same! Unrelated to the content of the video, I loved it being outside and hearing the birds or watching the wind blow the leaves behind you. It was very calming and sweet to see/hear - which I associate with your videos anyway. On apologies, do watcha gotta do. I love when you do daily videos for a while because it puts more Carrie content into my life! It makes me feel like I know you not just as "musical theatre Carrie" but the "what's she doin now that that's over?" Carrie too. And I love that.

I've loved your videos for years, of all topics/themes. I didn't watch much of this May series because I like watching you talk about the things you love or what excites you rather than (what i perceived to be) just fulfilling a prompt-like "stars", or other daily "words" to tie the video around. I also just use CZcams differently now. I'm here for whatever you want to make and my only wish for you is that you're less hard on yourself. You don't owe us anything. Just make what you want and what makes you happy. 💙
