Erqing planned the whole thing, making sure she was seen leaving his room. We know for sure because in the sequel about the Emperor and Wei Yingluo daughter ‘Yanxi Palace, Princess Adventures’ the true story comes out about Erqing deceiving the Emperor, and that the real father of her child was Fuheng’s brother.
We certainly get an entertainment watching all these dramas of a palace-politics; but the actual people must've led a very miserable life having to watch their every step and speech, lest they should fall prey to another vicious schemer.
Ling is not evil that snake deserve it the empress never done anything to her after she Lost her baby she was already depressed why would she go and tell her the emperor attacked her and she got pregnant by him which is not true that slut got pregnant by Fuheng brother she just wanted to pushed her to the edge that’s why the empress killed her self because if it comes out it will bring shame to the family name she taught that the emperor betrayed her which is not true so you see for all the evil things she has done she got off too easy one thing Ling does is despise evil Erqing was evil Ling said it best she was worse than consort Chun at least consort Chun was trying to protect her son interest but she did all that because she wanted a man that did not love her she plotted against Yingluo to get Fuheng to married her she gets what she wanted she didn’t expect Fuheng will still be in love with Yingluo.That snake even caused a young maid to kill her self because she sold her into prostitution.
