Glad you two are able to get away. Nice airstream. Thanks again for sharing.
We have arrived in Cherokee, NC from Wisconsin traveling on a F3L.
We have lost your breadcrumb trail to follow you..... gonna wing it up to the Finger Lakes in NY. Take the rain with ya......safe riding..... Ciao!
Have a great adventure!
I LOVE your videos!! Working on getting a Spyder for me an my wife. In the mean time, living vicariously through you guys!! We are getting a lot of ideas for trips from you. Can't wait to see more!! Take care and be safe.
A great idea to rent an Airstream before you buy, I hope this makes your decision a more informed an easy one. Thanks for another fine adventure John and Miriam.
Thanks again John and Mariam for sharing, gave Millie and I and idea about the airbnb and the RV stay. Looks like that plan may be for 2021 which hopefully be a better year.
Hay Bill, in 2021 there will be another crisis and another the year after that. As long as you have health and the financial ability, be safe and dont postpone joy.
Holy Christmas, excellent point and well said. Millie and I are blessed and need to discuss and last sentence plan with more determination. Next weekend we plan to do a Spyder run to Bruce Rossmeyer's Destination Daytona for TrikeFest and meet up with CoachBob and CoachVic, that's gonna be exciting.
Thanks again! Stay safe!👍✌️🇨🇦
The smoky mountains my favorite vacation spot !
Well ... it’s a hard life but somebody’s gotta do it!
Thank you John and Miriam, I am not able to travel yet but your videos provide inspiration and knowledge on how it's done
. Thank you again!
Morning. That is some beautiful country down there. The airstream is a great idea. Another destination to try. Thanks for sharing. Y'all have a wonderful day. Later.
Beautiful area, great video as usual.
Really enjoyed
Hope you have a good time up at Bryson city love the little camper You stayed in keep pushing out the videos we love them hope you both are doing well
We are truly living the good life..
I love it when you folks in the south say it gets cold when the temps dip under 60. Ride safe and keep the Kneez in the Breez.
It is kinda of relative, but after baking in the upper 90's for the last 3 months, 60's felt great..
Is it possible??? For the second time when the two of you were on a trip I thought I saw you on the road? It was shortly after 2:00 pm when I spotted a gray-colored Spyder about two miles south of Maryville, TN, heading south on US 321 N (don’t ask!!!). One the riders was wearing a white colored jacket and the passenger, I believe, was wearing a high-vis green one. I did not see if there was a trailer in tow….not enough time to take in that detail. If it was, it must be a sign that some day (post Covid-19) we will have to hook up for a meal and some sharing time. If it wasn’t you two, then, as Emily Latella of the old SNL program would say, NEVER MIND! Safe travels!
It was not us, we never made it to TN,,, But a meet up in the future sounds good...
One day, Johnny! We look forward to the day we can break bread with you.
Spectacular! We have similar interest, I have been researching full-time RV'ing for a while now and just recently purchased a Ryker Rally.. If my wife Mrs. Swaggy gets an interest in riding then an upgrade to the RT Spider is definitley an option. Cheers! Ps. For the cost and maintenance of an RV you might be better off just renting nice accommodations like that Airstream.. It would certainly minimize a lot of headachess. Swaggy
RV's are not cheep, But my calculations say if we stay out 45 days per year its cheaper than hotels. Our plan is a minimum of 90 days per year, but that is after Miriam retires.
@@JohnMiriamsTravelVlog That's awesome John. I wish you and Miriam well on Your Golden Journey. Maybe our paths will cross one day on the open road to swap stories while enjoying one of those cocktail.. Plan- Effort-Timing-Enjoy
hi john , have ever done a video on how you pack your trailer for your trips . we are hoping to do some traveling with our bikes next year . we will be retired by then
Yes sir, it covers packing in general czcams.com/video/fRwsJ8ar8d8/video.html
Hey John did you say cold at +50? Right now it's March here Ontario and 20f with snow. I may have missed it in one of your prior videos, what has been your average MPG on your extended trips. I'm planning a trip this July 2023 through the eastern mountains of the USA from North to the South on a Spyder. Love the videos.
Nice video! The footage was super clear!! What kind of camera are you using? Just subbed!
Well thank you! We each have a Sena Prism Tube camera on our helmets. Good camera, easy to use when moving. Wish it had stabilization like my Go Pro 7. We use the GoPro 7 for stationary and a older GoPro 3 for the looking back shots.
@@JohnMiriamsTravelVlog I haven't heard of the Sena Prism Tube Camera before but will definitely check it out. I use the GoPro HERO 8 mainly and the stabilization and mic has been great to use on the trail Have you seen the specs on the GOPro 9?. In case you looking for some new places to explore, there is a lot of videos on my channel that might interest you. Would love to hear your feedback! Cheers
Thank you for posting, I will now be adding this to my travel to and camp at list. One question though, I loved the airstream camp site you stayed at. Do you have a link for it? Would be a wonderful spot to make a reservation. Thanks again.
Miriam reported it was on Airbnb.com. The property was called the silver cabin.
I love that jacket, What brand is it
John has a Revvit and mine is a Sedici.
What rain gear do you guys use?
We carry the lightweight Gortex type liners we got with the Fly jackets and we each have the heavy CanAm brand rain high viz rain jackets. As for pants, we each have off brand Gortex type black pants.
Thank you for the info, You guys are awesome
