Stay cool Richard. It isn't the heat....it's the humidity, that makes it so uncomfortable. Safe travels.

Thanks Rod... I've been watching the Typhoon & Looking back at previous years. Cebu City seems to avoid the worst weather MOST years. I'm going to follow the Rainy Season closely.

Thanks Ted. Yes, the eastern islands take the brunt of typhoons usually but occasionally on sneaks through. The "wet" season is different every year but they do publish "averages".

Over here in Negros occidental. At around 10:20pm. Extremely bright lightning through the windows, and instantly what sounded like a bomb going off. - it’s moved past the island in the last 25 minutes.
Now you could see the bright lightning, but quite a few seconds delay of the sound,

I was told when I was very young that you can guage the distance away from lightning by counting the seconds before you hear the thunder. 5 seconds = 5 miles away. Not sure how accurate that is.

I appreciate the variety of content you offer. You also share the tools you look at which is also helpful. Always something to learn from your channel.
I would love to have a renewed understanding of what you use for travel. If someone was to fly into Cebu where should they stay the first 2448 hours that's close to the airport until they get their sea legs under them.😊

      Many thanks.
Hotels or airbnb rentals near Cebu Business Park Ayala Mall area or IT Park are popular and convenient places to explore from.

PAGASA is the Philippine government site. Windy.com is the weather app that is free to use and offers a lot of info Anders.
