In Part 2, Mario says: "I-a do have a Cape-a Feather". The original idea for this part was that Luigi runs off the platform and lands on an airship piloted by Bowser Jr. Mario would then engage Bowser by using said Cape Feather.
Due to complications with the animation, I scrapped that idea, gave Mario a second cape feather and went with what I have now.
Honestly, I had completely forgotten Mario only had one Cape Feather by the time I was done animating this...
