Blaming the so-called "protestant ethic" for the American deferment from ornament is baseless & unwarranted considering the gambit of reasons why ornament took a departure in America & the world the time it had. Much of America's identity has been comprised of workers and industrialists for much of its history so much so that the pragmatism of life made decoration for decorations sake rather obsolete, costly & excessive. Blaming protestants and puritans comes off unfoundedly bias, 23:00. Otherwise this was a great look into the world of an intelligent artist.

I love this woman, but am way too dumb to comprehend what she’s doing. Haha. Really!
