How to make CARROT hair spray for HAIR GROWTH & Length Retention | Natural hair tutorial

In this video you’ll learn how to make DIY hair growth spray with Carrot. Carrot juice can be used for deep conditioning the hair, as a spray to trap in moisture, as hair growth juice due to the presence of vitamins A & E. It can help soften the hair, add shine and strengthen the hair root and more.
Carrot juice is for all hair types.
Recipe:
Chop 1 cup of carrot
Add 1 cup of boiled or distilled water (warm water)
Add 5 drops of Peppermint essential oil
Add 5 drops of Tea tree essential oil
Add 1/2 tbsp of Vitamin E oil
Store left over in the refrigerator

HI MISS E. I stop butting relaxers in my hair 2 years ago . now I I've been wearing it natural and used perm rods and two stran twist when I roll it. I been using olive oil cream that comes in the green jar by ORS but I stopped using it because after a few days my hair is very dry after butting it in my hair. they also make carrot olive oil cream 😋. I love using that . I was wandering could you make a recipe on carrot 🥕 oil cream? QUESTION dosae this oil need to be refrigerated after I have made it? 🤔

Hello Pamela. It’s a good thing you stopped using the olive cream that was drying out your hair. It is better you use the natural Olive oil carrier oil (Extra virgin olive oil) same olive oil we cook with. Also for carrot oil since carrot does not have it’s own oil. Some persons cut carrots into smaller pieces or partial blend it, add a cup or more of coconut oil in a pot (depending on the amount of carrot you have) then add your carrot, use very low heat to cook it until there’s no water in the pot. Allow to cool, strain the oil carrot out. Anything OIL doesn’t have to be refrigerated.

But if your making carrot hair spray like my video showed, it contains water and needs to be refrigerated since we didn’t add any preservatives. Store for 7-14days depending on the temperature of your refrigerator.

This carrot hair spray is good for low porosity hair. My hair is low porosity. It would’ve been nice if it’s warm too, so it can penetrate low porosity hair faster.
