- This grade 11 class at John Fraser Secondary School, Peel District School Board, had about a month to research an amusement park ride, hand sketch it, draft it with AutoCAD, and build a working model. I think they did an amazing job! If you have about 4 minutes, take a look at their work for yourself.
The teacup ride, what are the dimensions of the big round box?
Do the teacups rotate or does the top part of the base that the teacups stand on rotate?
We have a project like that and thanks for ideas. :)

The teacup ride. What did the student use to make it spin?
Cushcush Mutsh Plastic cups, a big round box from dollar store, switch, motor, rubber elastic, pulleys, double AA batteries and battery holder. She used hot glue gun and some wood to hold everything together inside it. Oh, yes, she also used dowels in the centre to connect the motor and pulley to the axle in the centre.
