It is said that Music has power to heal, to calm mind, we have all experienced it. But when we combine music with the sound of our chants, we enhance the effect of music 1000 times. The sound, the vibration of our own voice send these healing vibrations throughout our body.

~ NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO ~
Nam comes from the Sanskrit namas, meaning to devote or dedicate oneself.
Myo can be translated as mystic or wonderful, and ho means law. This law is called mystic because it is difficult to comprehend.
Renge means lotus blossom.
Kyo literally means sutra and here indicates the Mystic Law likened to a lotus flower, the fundamental law that permeates life and the universe, the eternal truth.

Ce mantra est l un des plus puissant mantra bouddhiste. Je l écoute en entier tous les matins dès mon réveil. Pas besoin de religion. Juste écoutez les mantras bouddhiste. J'ai de l expérience dans ce sujet et j ai même réussi à me guérir d un cancer alors que la médecine traditionnelle ne me donnait que six mois de vie. C était en 2o18 et je suit s bien vivante et guéri .

The wonderful and most beautiful Lotus can only flower from its roots in the dirty mud at the bottom of the pond or stream ( the harshness of ordinary humans' lives bound up with hunger, ignorance, fear, anxiety, animality, desire etc ) . This 'mud' is the soil necessary to create a lotus. It is used to create something beautiful beyond words. Also the Lotus is unusual in that it flowers and seeds at the same time - signifying the mystic karmic law of simultaneous cause and effect. As any cause is made, the effect is simultaneously created - it just will be a time before it is made manifest by appearing in this physical world. By making more and more positive and caring causes in our lives, and by studying and practicing the laws and principles of Buddhism, in daily life, we move to much higher life states, activating creativity and understanding.

After my recent travels, I realize that those of us who sit at the side of vast swaths of wealthy society locked up high, without access to the nutrients... well- you watch them hurt themselves and you think, oh for shame, share the kindness your position surely provides the time and perspective to achieve... so, well- you realize then, that they have no time or perspective... and that their antiseptic business personas are stranding them high up like air plants and again, that they have no access... I reaized yesterday that the trickster in us can provide- tries to provide through us at times- the chance to share the loving torture you describe so beautifully. It's difficult to recognize one's role as one meant for this dark and visceral care (spiritually speaking- of course...😰) ...but another here may be wondering at the same sense of their hearts strange care... it is a weird world, friend, and in these high strange places I mention- it often needs strange care.

I was taught this chant years ago. I didn't realize it was connected to Buddhism or that it had a meaning. I tend to use this chant when I meditate to settle my mind and breathing.

Nam Myōhō Renge Kyō (南無妙法蓮華經 o también Namu Myōhō Renge Kyō) es el mantra que constituye la base de la práctica de todas las formas de Budismo Nichiren, y representa La Ley última o verdad del Universo. Este mantra recibe el nombre de daimoku (題目, “título”) u Odaimoku (Gran Título), y fue revelado por primera vez por el monje japonés Nichiren en el año 1253 en Kiyosumi-dera (también, Seichōji) cerca de Kominato en la actual Chiba, Japón. El propósito de cantar daimoku es el manifestar la naturaleza de Buda, que según las enseñanzas de Nichiren, es una cualidad inherente a todas las personas.
NAM MYOJO RENGUE KYO (que se repite Namu-miojo-rengue-quio) ... es la Ley Verdadera o la Ley Mística resumida por Nichiren Daishonin y representa la esencia del Sutra del Loto. Todas las enseñanzas expuestas por Shakyamuni (Sidharta Gautama) están registradas en forma de sutras, su número es vastísimo, cada sutra fue enseñado a un discípulo o grupo de discípulos en particular para una finalidad específica, pero el Sutra del Loto en sí, contiene la plena, la perfecta revelación de la iluminación de Shakyamuni. "Quienes canten el NAM MYOJO RENGUE KYO (el título del Sutra del Loto) aún sin comprender su significado, comprenden no sólo el corazón del Sutra del Loto sino también la esencia de todas las enseñanzas del Buda".
El Daishonin identifica este mantra con "la verdadera identidad de todos los fenómenos, la realidad definitiva de la verdad absoluta y la naturaleza de Buda que es inherente a todos los seres humanos". NAM MYOJO RENGUE KYO es la expresión de la verdad máxima de la vida y también evidencia su esencial realidad, así el NAM MYOJO RENGUE KYO cubre todas las leyes, todas las materias y todas las formas de vida existentes en el universo; y si lo condensamos es igual a la vida de los seres humanos, porque al mismo tiempo que se encuentra la causa de su sufrimiento, la persona que entona NAM MYOJO RENGUE KYO tiene la capacidad de transformar plenamente esas condiciones para alcanzar su verdadera felicidad.
El Sutra del Loto es la más profunda de todas las enseñanzas budistas, nos invita a desafiar con coraje la verdadera entidad de nuestra vida para extraer la condición innata de budeidad que poseemos en nuestro verdadero yo, en otras palabras, una invitación a adherirnos a nuestros valores más elevados, buscando la autorrealización, desarrollando nuestro pleno potencial y trascendiendo hacia nuestro prójimo y la comunidad entera. Dicho de otra forma, NAM MYOJO RENGUE KYO, la Ley Mística, es el camino hacia la budeidad (la iluminación).
La invocación de Nam myoho renge kyo es la expresión, en palabras, de la Ley de la vida que busca cambiar el futuro, el destino. Escuchar y realizar la recitación repetida de Nam myoho renge kyo es la práctica primordial la cual se experimenta como un incremento natural de energía o vitalidad, valor, sabiduría, compasión, y nos ayudara a cambiar nuestro destino.
Nichiren Daishonin declaró que este mundo es el lugar para disfrutar de la felicidad y su budismo enseña que entonando NAM MYOJO RENGUE KYO podemos alcanzar y -lo que es más importante- expandir dicha felicidad.
Resumiendo lo anteriormente expuesto, la oración básica o lo que entonamos es NAM MYOJO RENGUE KYO, el nombre de la Ley Mística que rige la vida eternamente en todo el universo.
En la practica de la meditación, que se realiza repitiendo mantras. El mantra NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO, es uno de ellos, quizás el más importante.
Literalmente, Nam Myōhō Renge Kyō, significa devoción a Myoho renge kyo, que es la lectura japonesa del título en chino del Sutra del Loto, el cual Nichiren consideraba como la esencia de dicho Sutra.
NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO es una frase relacionada al SUTRA DEL LOTO, uno de los "discursos" fundamentales pronunciados por el Buda (Sidharta Gautama) y recopilados por sus discipulos.
NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO fue el mantra pronunciado por el monje budista Nichiren Daishonin que consideraba que "quienes canten el NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO (el título del Sutra del Loto) aún sin comprender su significado, comprenden no sólo el corazón del Sutra del Loto sino también la esencia de todas las enseñanzas del Buda”. Daishonin identifica este mantra con “la verdadera identidad de todos los fenómenos, la realidad definitiva de la verdad absoluta y la naturaleza de Buda que es inherente a todos los seres humanos”. Nichiren Daishonin reveló esta ley como el principio fundamental dentro de la enseñanza máxima del Budismo, el “Sutra del Loto”. Toda vida es una expresión o manifestación de dicha ley, de manera que cuando cantamos NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO armonizamos nuestras vidas con el ritmo perfecto del universo. ¿El resultado? Un aumento de la fuerza vital, sabiduría, misericordia y de buena fortuna para enfrentar los retos que se nos presentan.
No hay ningún requisito ni regla en cuanto a la razón por la cual uno deba invocar esta Ley Verdadera o Ley Mística, simplemente tomamos la decisión de cantar NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO y al hacerlo experimentamos la energía y sabiduría para lograr una vida plena. Cuando entonamos NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO, la Ley Mística, contrario a la mayoría de las religiones, no rezamos a una divinidad externa revestida de características humanas, como el juzgar, castigar, perdonar. Nuestras práctica se dirigen hacia la profundidad de nuestro ser, creando valor y logrando nuestro propio cambio.
Podemos crear esos valores en nuestras vidas y ayudar a otros a hacer lo mismo. Como nos enseña el Daishonin, alcanzamos la iluminación mediante una transformación continua que sucede en lo más profundo de nuestra existencia, a la vez que buscamos la libertad y resolver nuestros conflictos. Nuestra transformación se concretan mediante la invocación de NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO porque extraemos de nosotros la condición más elevada y la sabiduría para tomar la acción correcta.
La repetición de un mantra se anida en la conciencia y en el inconsciente.
Los mantras tienen diferentes significados y crean distintas vibraciones. Un mantra es básicamente vibración.
Cuando repetimos, cantamos un mantra, este tiene la posibilidad de vibrar y hacer eco con vibraciones similares, en una especie de reacción en cadena. Entonces estamos haciéndolo resonar en nuestras vidas y a nuestro alrededor. Nos afinamos con la vibración de la sabíduria del Universo, resonar en la misma frecuencia que la vida, cantando NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO despierta las cualidades innatas de iluminación que están en nosotros.
Pero qué significa NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO?
No es fácil dar una respuesta corta...
NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO significa la "Devoción a la Ley de la Vida". La frase de Nam myoho renge kyo es un medio para posibilitar a todas las personas para armonizar sus vidas con la ley de la vida, o Dharma.
Pero a su vez cada vocablo tiene una significación muy profunda:
NAM
Nam La palabra nam deriva del sánscrito, una traducción cercana de su significado es "consagrarse".
Nam es una palabra de acción. El acto de nombrar nuestro potencial, lo hará emerger. Nam significa respecto y dedicación. Por lo tanto NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO significa "Devoción de cuerpo y mente a la Ley Mistica del Loto del Sutra". Y nam refiere a las acción correcta y a la actitud que uno debe desarrollar para alcanzar la iluminación en esta vida. Es la relación perfecta de la vida del ser humano con la verdad eterna de la vida.
MYOHO
Es la ley mistica o realidad definitiva. Expresa la relación entre la semilla de vida que es inherente al universo y las muchas formas diferentes en que esa vida se manifiesta. Se refiere a la escencia de la vida, que es invisible y está más allá de la comprensión intelectual.
MYO
Significa místico "porque es infinitamente profundo y más allá de todas las posibles concepciones y formulaciones de la mente humana" (Ikeda, 1994). Como lo expresa Nichiren Daishonin, "es simplemente la misteriosa naturaleza de nuestras vidas. De momento a momento la vida es ciertamente una realidad evasiva que trasciende tanto la existencia como la no-existencia, no es ninguna de ellas, pero exhibe cualidades de ambas, la entidad mística del que es la realidad de todas las cosas. MYO entonces es el nombre dado a la naturaleza mística de la vida. Myo se refiere a la esencia de la vida, misma que es invisible y esta mas alla de la comprensión intelectual. Como lo expresa Nichiren Daishonin, "es simplemente la misteriosa naturaleza de nuestras vidas
HO
Hō es quien recibe estas funciones o la forma en que esas funciones se manifiestan.
Esta escencia se manifiesta en una forma tangible (ho) que podemos aprehender con los sentidos. Los fenómenos (ho) cambian, pero en el interior hay algo que permanece, una realidad constante (myo). Ho Significa ley o las manifestaciones de la naturaleza mística de la vida. De esta forma MYO correspondería a la "realidad definitiva más allá de nuestra capacidad de percepción y JO al mundo de los fenómenos en todas sus formas en constante cambio.
RENGE
Significa Flor de Loto, esta flor nace en medio del lodo, de aguas turvias y pantanosas, y por eso es símbolo de fertilidad, prosperidad y belleza, porque muestra que de lo más bajo puede nacer lo más sublime. Representa la simultaneidad de causa y efecto ya que es la única planta que produce flores y semillas (frutos) al mismo tiempo. Sempay del verdadero Budismo de Nishiren Daishonin.
