- This video was given to Hoover dealers to play in store to promote the Hoover Crystaljet dishwasher range.
The actress featured is Rosalind Lloyd who played Heather in the 1982 Only Fools & Horses Christmas special, Diamonds Are For Heather.
A family friend had a Hoover crystaljet deluxe in grey. Lasted 18 years, much longer than the new Hotpoint!
And HOTPOINT Was made by BOSCH
And the HOOVER was made by ZANUSSI
I had the deluxe Crstaljet, in it's heyday it would have knocked spots off the one I've got now.
We had one of these . Great machine lasted years

I only watched the 1981 sci-fi film Inseminoid on DVD the other day and she was in it. Poor dear met a grisly end dying from lack of air in her pressurised space suit. For some reason she reminds me of that other horror/sci-fi actress, Barbara Shelly (Dracula, Quatermass).
Oh yes, I too remember her in Doctor Who, she was quite sexy as that Nurse looking after the cyborg Captain.

Rosalind Lloyd's Jenny kicked ass in Who Dares Wins when she sorted out Ingrid Pitt as Elga. Jenny represented as strong woman who any could identify with anyone whom has to be strong to protect their family.
She could only kick ass because she had a Hoover dishwasher to take care of her dirty dishes.
So much for your prediction, Rosalind. I've lived in 11 different properties since 2000 and not one of them had a dishwasher. Not one. Then again, I have always been quite poor.

Had a se ondhand one in the late 1980's. Loved that you could change the water pressure for wine glasses. It lasted us at least 15 years. Got a Miele after that one. Had it for about 10 years now.
