Yes...it's unusual that there aren't very many Christmas decorations. But perhaps the city wanted to spend money on other things. But I'm surprised there aren't more private decorations. Anyway, thanks for the interesting walking tour. I wish you a Very Happy New Year. 🌿🦋🦋🌿
It's unusual... I do believe it concerns the moment we're living now (concerning politics). The country is totally divided so there's a sense of insecurity in the air (economically speaking, as well). I hope it can change someday. :) Many thanks for the comment and for the wishes! Great video. To walk in a late afternoon at Faria Lima Avenue is always special but during the Christmas time is even more. But I remember 10 or more years a go when Sao Paulo used to be well decorated to the Christmas time in the Majors touristic places (Paulista Avenue, Oscar Freire Street, Faria Lima Avenue, Ibirapuera's Park...) the vibe about the Christmas was better. Because of financial problems these currently days the vibe is almost gone.
