Doing my foundation exam on Friday, QTH for me is just over the River Dee in West Kirby, so if so, we may be able to communicate via the repeater :) My rig atm is a Baofeng UV5R+ (newer version of the Chinese HT you have two of) connected to a 2 and .70 magmount in the roof.

Good informative tour. Most interesting. Just wondering if you had to do any extra screening for those screens? I have one LCD monitor and it hashes on HF. Not sure what to do about it.
hi im just about to get into ham radio . can you explian why the 3 differemt radios ? . dont they all do the same thing . sorry if its obvious why you have different ones lol but i see a lot of users using multi radios
Can't you just get rid of everything but the PC, and communicate with everyone you want all around the world via the internet, error and static free, even when they are not online? And even see them in real time video, and voice, as well as online and offline instant messenges, and email? I'm just saying. If your station is stationary and you've got high speed internet, who needs radios and antennas? The electric goes out, your phucked either way, and if you get nostalgic, there's Hamsphere.
What make are your speakers please and how much do they cost . .? If you don't mind , also do they still sell that major mic as I would like something like that for my icom 7000 thanks Shane uk
