I'm only a few weeks into ownership but it's been great so far. The advantage with a Trek or any other brand available in a shop is the shop itself. If you are comfortable doing your own assembly, setup, upgrades, etc. this is a great deal. My main complaint is the dropper post lever, I have a new upgraded one on the way. But that's a small price to pay.
@@dom_veloce Thank you for the advice. I want to shop local but, this seems like a pretty good value. Do you notice a difference in overall quality of this bike vs something like a Trek. I worry that it will feel cheap. It's hard to buy without riding it.
@@achronicleoftradingprofiles I bought it without ever seeing a Polygon in person. This is the first time I’ve bought a bike sight unseen but took the chance. If you blindfolded me I wouldn’t be able to tell that this bike is priced as it is. It is well made and feels like a premium bike. Keep in mind Polygon manufactures frames for brands under their own names.
how do you cut the handlebars sorry that’s like a stupid question but could you maybe post a video about it
use a tubing cutter, they're used to cut plumbing lines. They're available at hardware stores. Makes a clean cut.
How is it going with this Poly D7. I am trying to decide between this or a Trek EX 5 gen 5.
