I LOVED Zenos going "why this bitch still alive? Surely you could've killed it by now. Finish it and fight me already!"
Makes me sad they didn't give the WoL the chance to reply something like 'Give me a break, I've only just cornered it!' or 'You know what they say about cockroach tenacity...'
If Thancred would've said "sus" in that scene instead of "suspicious" I would've eaten my keyboard.
THE SHOEBILL KNEW THE ENTIRE TIME
I like how Alisaie asked if Urianger was cold despite wearing shorts herself.
Her attitude makes up for it.
That's exactly why she asked, cause like that meme "If you're cold. They're cold. Let them in." XD
I mean, she definitely can handle it. I have seen girls on the streets wearing like 3 jackets in winter cold, and straight up bare legs. like dude, how do you even do this???
@@chinhthehugger9284 Being able to handle it and not feeling it aren't the same thing. Besides, Alisae is probs warmed by the concentrated anger she feels at all times.

Urianger being a colossal dork is always a magnificent thing to see.

I think the reason it took Zenos so long to get to Camp Broken Glass in your body was because he kept tripping over in the stripper-heels and faceplanting into a snowdrift. When you got your body back, there was probably a couple hundred gil tucked into the boot and a note reading, "My friend, please invest in more practical footwear 'ere our next encounter - Z"

I'm sure a lot of people missed them as well, which is a shame
I saw the one in Sharlayan but I missed the one in Omicron. XD
I remember mostly speeding through lots of HW, SB, and ShB so i could just catch up to my friend in end game after he got me back into FFXIV (which is why im redoing it all again for a proper experience) despite that when i got to the part where they take off the masks i was like "waaaait a second... that furrowed brow... those slightly pursed lips... GASP it's Emet!" It just goes to show how well the facial modelling and animations are that even someone like me who wasn't fully paying attention still was able to recognize exactly who it was even with some of his features being different

Shadowbringers brought me a strange fear of both beavers and shoebills and seeing this guy come back sent a chill down my spine for a moment.
Beavers show up in Endwalker too, if you do the side quests. Twice, in fact - once in Sharlayan and once in Elpis. And I assure you, neither of those appearances will dispel any of the misgivings you might have about beavers.
Okay drunk Urianger is my new favorite thing in this game.

She's an empath, so she essentially has something similar to the echo... But it works by reading emotions and as we all know, that demonic five-nights-at-freddies-anamatronic-looking-headass, soulless clog-shoe-for-a-nose paralysis demon known as a 'shoebill' has no emotions in those cold, dead eyes.

If you look at the text of the Shoebill Minion, it is extremely reminiscent of Hades. I also appreciate that an actual shoebill's call sounds like a gunshot. Which is... also relevant to Hades at some point in time.
Not really? But its showed up a ton in Shb in relation the emet selch so who knows?

really us seeing the "true" emet for the first time and he ignores us and then sasses us...and then the devs giving us the options to be just as a sass ass back is brilliant. Cause at the time...he doesn't know it...but we have already learned how to deal with him XD (which makes it even funnier to think of it as, we dealt with you in the past of our future of our past, which is your future...in which we have come from to visit the past, seeing as we have already met you in our past past, of our future past...so that way...we may have a future...for our future future, which was fought in the past...for the future) XD
Someone please explain, so fan Daniel and emet don’t like each other, but Hermes and solus do?
Emet never hated Fandaniel or his shard while he was alive, he saw Fandaniel as a comrade and the only moment they clashed was removed from their memories in Elpis, so Fandaniel's shard (Amon) was the only one with hate for humanity (and even then we never really see Fandaniel actively hating Emet, just mocking him for trying to save his world)
This is also the reason why Fandaniel didn't do anything until both Emet and Elidibus fell, bc they could've stopped him if they knew his real intentions
