They all turned out really nice even with the mudding
Love watching your video's
Gorgeous!
beautiful
This affect is amazing 👏 definitely going to try this. Thank you for sharing.
That is so so beautiful
Lots of good hints , I was trying too soon on the black.
Enjoy watching your channel 😊
Wishing you 2 Happy Ever after ❤️ God bless and keep you ☺️
Thanks Carol 😊
Stu….ning, shame about the muddying, but a nice galaxy vibe to some pieces (IMHO). What about putting your mould on a Lazy Susan / turntable? And, have you tried making the rainbow ink using holo nail powder 🤔 Thank you Daniel 💜😈💜 xxx
Absolutely stunning!!!! Magical!!
Really please about this one. I real need to understand the application of background coloring. Thank you
Love, love, love your work!
Thanks Debbie 😊
Amazing! I appreciate your videos so much!
Thanks Sasha 😊
Wow! I lean so much from you! Gorgeous ❤️
Thanks Mary 😊
These are gorgeous😅😅
Hey Daniel. Terri Smith from Florida Im new here. Love watching your video. I keep learning more and more. Thanks so much. I just Love your art work.
Thanks Terri 😊
Great fun!
I'm learning so much from your videos, im new to resin and have been playing around with the alcohol inks, and yesterday i did black backgrounds (without watching any vids) and i was very pleased with the outcome, but you are right about using A LOT of black ink, i hope we can buy the black separately soon. 👍 Your pieces are beautiful i hope one day mine look as good as yours 🙂
Thanks 😊
Beautiful! I have watched your videos but have not attempted your methods. Maybe soon.
awesome video thank you so much I learn so much from you!
Thanks Carol, glad the videos are helping 😀
Thank you for the video!!!
Very welcome 😊
Absolutely gorgeous, love the blue ovals and flame colours 😍
those looks great I can't wait to try that. thanks
Thanks Rhonda 😊😊
I think they all turned out pretty cool! The last one kind of looks like a dragon to me. Really awesome effect.
Hi, good to see you Daniel! 🤗🇬🇧really looking forward to seeing your bird design! 😊 absolutely gorgeous! Just love these. 😍 thank you very much! 👍☺️ until next time..
Thanks Sue 😊, the birds will be good 😊😊
How long do you wait until you pour when you spray your mold with the mold release
There is no.waiting time, straight away 😊😊
Hi Daniel, new subscriber. I've watched quite a few of your videos now. Your pieces are beautiful. I'm quite new to resin therefore I haven't experimented very much. I'm now going to be more adventurous thanks to your videos x
Yay 😊😊😊😊
WOW Wunderschön
They're all so beautiful. I love the blue ones the most 😍
Thank you 😊
Thank you so much for taking the time to show the various results you can get with resin by using different techniques.
Very welcome, thanks for watching Janice 😊😊
Yay, you're back! So glad to see another video! 😊 You have been inspiring me for over a year but, due to tech difficulties between Google and my device (they didn't like each other, apparently), I was unable to leave likes or comments until about 2 months ago.
Sent u a coffee today in appreciation for what you so kindly do for us! I just regret I can't do this very often, nor as much as I would like, as we are living on a tight retirement budget (like so many others). Your tutorials are invaluable, and your voice is so calming. Thank you for that, too. 😊
Daniel, I have been wondering...would it be possible for you to do a cloud tech tutorial using UV resin and alcohol inks/white sinker? I have a little bit left of a JDiction bottle that I'm reluctant to waste since I am so inexperienced, still. I definitely understand if that's too expensive, though! Thank you for your consideration. 🙂
And, now...to watch the rest of the video! 😊
Thank you 😊. I will try UV soon but alcohol inks really dislike UV or Vice Versa 😂🤣
Not sure you'll see this, Daniel, but perhaps I should just use regular resin dyes and a white pigment paste (for the sinker), if I try this technique with UV resin? Rather than using alcohol inks, I mean?
Gorgeous!!
Thanks Karen 😊
Great effects 👏
Thank you 😊
Daniel, they all turned out gorgeous. I think, like you said, even the muddy areas look like a different color. They don't look a bad muddy color at all. The flowers are very cool. You are very impressive with this art style!! I love the black background. It really does make the colors come alive. Thank you for sharing your beautiful art pieces and techniques!!
Thanks Ellis 😊
I love what you're doing with the leaves. Can't wait until you demold. After you de-molded them I loved them all. Even the ones you weren't particularly fond of.
Thanks Vincey 😊
Very good
Thank you 😊
love the blues!! and some of the flowers were super also! thanks ....❤🌹
Thanks Roseann 😊😊
Absolutely love watching you work! Thank you for sharing your talents with us all.
Thanks Susan 😊
Beautiful work! Thank you for sharing!!!
Thank you 😊
Love them all especially the blue ones xx
Thanks Julie 😊, definitely my favourite ones too 😊😊
Ranger Tholts has a 2ounce bottle of black on Amazon
I need this!!! 😂
You are a great teacher I just love your techniques and your fab artwork I sure appreciate you 🤗thank you for the awesome vids ✌🏻
Im getting better trial and error
Have a great week
PhilliBee
Thank you so much 😊
Love when you have black in the background I thought you were going to wait a few more minutes after your stir to add your black but stunning absolutely ❤️
I think I should have 😂
😂
😂😂😂
Beautiful, all of them, Daniel! Even though blue isn't "my color", they are gorgeous! I'm impressed with how well the leaves turned out, too!
A note: as a former fiber dyer, it is well known to us that black, brown, and purple pigments are famous for "breaking" into their component colors, and we always held our breath when using them. 😊 We often have to wait until those colors dry first, before adding any others to our yarn or fabric, to avoid disastrous muddying. I guess that would be the same as partly curing the resin before adding the black alcohol ink. I suspect 'pigments are pigments' regardless of what they're used for, and they might all share certain characteristics we're not so fond of.
Thank you, again, for a lovely video! 😊
Yep, they defined like to wander and cause havoc! 😂🤣
😍😍😍
Gosh I’d love to be able to get those effects Steve. They are truly beautiful. I really love those little flower blooms! 🥰☘️
Steve? 😂🤣
Ha ha! I think she's got you mixed up with Steve McDonald. 😄 Well, hey...you've both a Brit accent, what? 😁
@@fairyspunfibers9098 Exactly.......they all sound the same!!!! 🤷🏻♀️🤣🤣🤣🥰☘️
@@daniel..cooper Sorry Daniel. Lol 😂😂😂🤦🏻♀️
Working on these now- I can’t get enough of your techniques! Bought the double sinkers and used the little bottles- it comes out so fast! But good control w practice. Also- how did your flowers not spread into a weird alien blob?
Squeeze the tip of the needle bottle a bit with some small pliers, it will slow the flow 😊
@@daniel..cooper I’ll try that! Thank you so much for all the attention and care- you are a fantastic teacher and I know you give a lot of people joy!
@@rebekahbellaj1949 🥰 thank you 😊
Yeeeeeh! 😄
😊😊😊😊
@@daniel..cooper Hello! Your favorites are mine too, too bad for that mud that occasionally comes out with purple and pink. I think it happens when the color is low and goes into transparency, where it is more compact I don't think it does. The final black unfortunately makes him notice more, what do you think? The idea of flowers is in the very best, they are lost a little but beautiful. 😊
I will try and see if waiting a further 20-30mins makes a difference, I think it will. It is a shame.
@@daniel..cooper Ok, we'll see to the next video, thanks. 👍🏻😊
Can you please discuss the “recipe” for your white made with white pigment paste? Not shown here.
As in my home made sinker? If so, #154 and 155 are the vids you need 😁
What's the difference between the black in and just topping it with black resin? Would love to see side by side. Love your work. As soon as I see the notification I jump on it.
Thanks Christi, adding the black adds a different look compared to a 2nd layer, the black is much more visible between the colours 😊
@@daniel..cooper I'd love to see a side-by-side of the two methods as well!
Hi Daniel!..... what about the alcohol Ink fading? I remember you saying that in another video and I was worried about using them and selling them and people coming back because they're fading.
I love your videos just very curious what is the mix for the white sinker
Love what you do with resin! What do you do with the places that you make?
Thanks Pearl, mainly jewellery 😊
Very cool and appreciated your pace and attention to camera angles for us learning or curiously on how this is done! Do you make into necklaces or what can be done with them? Do you sell or?
Yes, mainly pendants :) I have a TikTok shop but only within UK at present
Both of my sinkers white from Lets Resin were not good. Neither one would mix . Luckily I had bought the large bottles.
Oh no, I haven't had any issues yet.... touch wood.
@@daniel..cooper Since I saw that Let's Resin has big bottles that came with the little pin bottles and tiny funnels, it's ok. I have plenty. I wasn't sure if anyone else had the problem.
Looks great. What if you wait until it completely cures and then add a thin layer of opaque black ink as a background? It would save a lot of money and it couldn't "ruin" some colors, like it did with pink, since they would already be cured. Or that wouldn't work as good?
Give it a try 😊, I have found that it doesn't give the same effects 😔
👍
💜🖤
🥰🥰🥰
I tried this yesterday and the black took over
Oh no 😔
More great designs, does this work with regular inks or only alcohol inks
Only alcohol inks :)
Hi Daniel. I am new to this and love your work and method. Could you please send me the link to your white mixture and black. I think I heard you say it was a mixture. Thanks
Hi Tami, all links are in the description box :)
Absolutely gorgeous. Do you drill holes to make necklaces or put them on a piece of metal? I luv your effect’s.
Tutorial #5 will help with this Joyce 😊
Not sure if I missed it. How long do you let resin sit before pouring into molds and how long they sit in molds before you put ink in?
Hello Daniel, they turned out beautiful 🤗 How long did you wait until you did the black color on them?
Thanks 😊, after the 1hr stir 😊
These are so pretty!! The blue "pheonix" one is spectacular!!! You always impress, Daniel. Do you know how we can tell which resin we have (ie: new formula or original)? Did they mark them somehow as new formula? I have some, but don't know which, or if I have both. I am just trying to avoid having to experiment to figure it out. TIA!!! Happy Resining!!!!
The new formula has a recessed inner safety cap but the collab resin announcement will come next week 😊
@@daniel..cooper I got some of the Collab resin! I'm excited to use it! Thanks so much!!! Happy Pouring!!!
@@JennifersJemz yay! 😊😊😊
Hey Daniel! Again, another great video. This is the first time that when I did it, it didn't take. I first look to see what process or change might have made this happen. The only difference is I needed resin in a hurry, and ended up buying a set of Alumilite Amazing Clear Cast Resin. I knew after I poured that the consistency just wasn't right. I'm going to stick to Let's Resin. My question is this; Are there colors that don't work with this, like purples?
Any colours will work, its how and where you place them that can cause issues with muddying :)
Have you tried interference by lets resin? Just curious. Yours are awesome
Not yet, sorry
Hi Daniel, an important question, I have piñata brand, will this technique work with piñata as well? What is the main difference between let’s resin & piñata brands? Regarding the colours & the white sinker & viscosity & opacity?
Also how long exactly you wait after mixing A+B before pouring in the molds?
And how long did you wait between pouring the clear resin & adding alcohol ink?
And how long did you wait before swirling?
And how long did you wait before adding the white?
And how long did you wait before swirling the white?
Also with swirling, you said don’t go deep to avoid scratching the molds, so I’ll reach the bottom clear resin but not reaching the bottom of the mold?
You said some of the time intervals in the tutorial but I want to confirm that I understood the process correctly
Thanks heaps
Hi, its all in the video :) inks straight away, stir after 1hr :)
Can you add color into the sinking white?
Yes but for different effects, not for this 😊
I enjoy watching your videos. As always a great tutorial. I’m in my mother land, Bulgaria and it’s so hard to find the right resin and alcohol inks so I miss playing with resin. Do you have an experience with marabou inks.? And any advice?
Thanks Jelka, sadly, I haven't tried their normal inks, only the glitter one. From my experience, the main thing is the resin viscosity and the sinker white used.
Thanks a lot Daniel.
Merci !!
@Claudine Riduet
How long do you wait after you prepare your resin to put in your inks? I know you have to let it get more viscous but not sure how to know when the consistency is just right to get these effects.
With this resin, straight after mixing and pouring, however, when I'm live on TikTok, my resin can be in the trays for up to 1 hour and I still get the same results, that will depend on room temperature etc.
MERCI !! 🙏💖💖💖💖
Hello Daniel, did you dilute white sinker (5ml&2.5ml alcohol like in 25th video of yours) or problem is solved? You did not mention here anything about new formula or white c deeper dilution :)
All is back to normal now but only if you use the collaboration resin :)
How long does the resin have to rest before designing..I know different brands have different tack times, but is there a minimum set time. Inquiring mind wants to know please
Add inks straight away after pouring, stir after 1 hour then add black and let cure, all explained in the vids 😊
@@daniel..cooper thank you so much. I really love you teaching. Come Sept I'll be a member
@shirleyburton6957 thank you Shirley 😊 🙏
I've always used the Pinata and it turned out horrible. I hope they bring back the original resin.
Its coming any day now :)
Will these alcohol inks fade?
Did you use the white 50/50 or pure?
Pure but was the origional formula, you may need to thin if you have the new formula, do a small test piece 😊
Do you ever use UV resin with this pattern?
Hi, I have tried yes but the outcome can be very messy and not the same effects.
Gracias
Does it still work if u let it cure then add black resin, I get the shakes and adding colours is hard enough lol, but all that black I would get that shit everywhere 😂
Give it a try :) I have found this way works best for me :)
Where can I get some of the molds you are using please
Hi Sharon, the links are in the description :)
is there a way to top coat the oval cabochons ?
Of course, I just haven't made that video yet, sorry Stasiss 😔
@@daniel..cooper Not a problem I just wasn't sure if you could. It's something that I've needed to learn. I just cant find help with top coating the top of the ovals yet. Thank you for your time.
@@StasissLevine can I ask why you would need to apply that top coat? 😊😊
@@daniel..cooper Just a few scratches on accident on the rounded top. I got a good even domed back. Just want to take care of the front.
Hello, i want to buy let's Resin alcohol ink but i life in the Netherlands and we can't buy it here. We've got pinata and i don't like it at all. Can you tell me where i can buy it here?
Hi, try diluting a small amount of piñata with Isopropanol, I made a video on how to do it 😊
@@daniel..cooper thank you. I'm going to try it.
Yay 😊😊
But black is alcool ink or is black liquid ?
Alcohol ink 😊
@@daniel..cooper tnks you so much
