    Rescue 750:
Installing the rings on the 750 Honda Wiseco 836cc Big-Bore Kit Restoration. This is a 1972 750 Honda motorcycle now with the 836cc Big Bore kit and someday this machine will run. Rings are not just rings. These motorcycle rings all have a different grove and a special end that goes up. The Wiesco big bore kit was the best one that I had purchased before. Everything was really nice and I'm super pleased with the way the piston crown polished up. It shined up just like a mirror where other pistons that were cast aluminum would never come to the true mirror finish.
The mirror finish in the pistons and heads is super important. When the piston crowns are polished they reflect the heat back into the combustion process making your engine just that more powerful and efficient. The Wiseco piston polishing also reflects the heat keeping it from coming into your engine. This is very important, you want the heat in the combustion and not in the engine, that makes a super difference.
Whether you are restoring or repairing your vintage classic motorcycle, if you take it apart, polish everything, it makes a difference in your bike.

Thank you very much. This is going on the fourth winter since I've started this project and I only have about four hours of work, plus a paint job, left before I can drive it. Now, all summer, all I could do was to lay down, and that was about it. So I posted these videos as a way to keep working on the project, not in real life, but in my heart. I've just been walking into the garage lately and looking at what needs to be done. Thanks again for your comments and have a nice day. Jeff.
