    I have almost 3000 miles on my benelli trk 502x love it . Power is sufficient for what I need it to do . No issues keeping up with any other bikes with more power . Always the first to bolt away from a traffic light . Pleasure to ride . If I want speed I get on my Monster 1200 although it's nowhere as comfortable .

    I am keen to buy one, in white.
    Great value, live in NewZealand where cities, gravel roads, river & lakes are all within 2hrs, & planning to use as a weekend rider/daytrip machine. My last bike was a Suzuki gsxr 1100, very powerful, but unkind to a 48yr old spine, & couldn't travel on gravel. I am looking forward to being able to explore & stop for a coffee either urban or bush.

    Another difference between the two is the TRK502 front wheels is 17inches compared to the 19inches of trk502x. And the TRK502 has lower seat height, great for shorter people like me.

    Hi Paul, really good video and that exhaust note is awesome. Just to add my 4 personal dislikes with the TRK - 1. the usb socket on the fairing when being used it is no longer waterproofed and you also have your usb cable flopping around . 2. the fuel cap is not hinged hence you need to find somewhere to place it when refueling. 3. The way the center/central stand lever tucks up under the rear foot peg mounting thus restricting some foot access to it - but on the plus side at least it has a center/central stand. 4. This is not about the TRK, it is about Benelli marketing, in Australia it just doesn't exist there are no dedicated Benelli motorcycle shops which then makes one question the availability of spare parts, I don't know if you have the same issue in the Philippines? Would I buy this bike of course l would . At 8:40 in your video what place is that cause I have been to the Philippines? - thankyou.

    • @pfb85
      @pfb85  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Stuart, this is great input! Hopefully people watching this video will read your comment!
      We do have "Benelli Philippines" branches only selling Benelli bikes in addition to some partner dealers selling multiple brands.
      In addition, units being sold in the Philippines are being assembled locally (in Cavite) so parts availability should not be a problem🙂
      Regarding location, at 8:40, this is along dr sixto antonio ave, in Pasig City.

    I'm considering one of these bikes but am awaiting Benellis larger displacement adventure bikes being announced in a few days 700ish and 800 c.c I believe. One other con on this bike and there are not many is that the tyres are tubed not tubeless tyres

    • @pfb85

      It might not come across in a video, but this exhaust was really loud. Hurt my head while riding.
      In terms of exhaust volume the number of cylinders is not what decides how loud it is, open pipes generally are very loud. Inline 4 engines are not louder in general if all stock, the main difference is how it sounds rather than how loud it is. The sound quality of inline 4 (and 3) is better in my opinion in most cases so inline 4 still sounds good even if you have an open pipe.
