Man, I miss the old Just Dance ui. Sure it isn’t as minimal and simple but damn does it have a great deal of charm to it!
The old ui from just dance 1-3 sucked because since the score icons were on the sides of the screen instead of the top of the screen, it was limiting the dancer’s movements due to the recorded dancers being aware that if they moved way too far to the left or right, they’d end up blocking either themselves or the ui. So in the just dance games 4-2023, since the ui is now on top of the screen, the dancers could move around as much as they want to since there’s no longer anything that is blocking them from doing it.
@@heavenandhello6629 I agree, but you can't deny there is something about it that feels nice. I do wholeheartedly agree that the new UI is better, though.

Just dance 1 feels very janky when it comes to detecting your wiimote movements. It might just be me but that's how I feel
No, it is actually janky. The motion detection was bad in this game. They did improved it in the second game, thought it still wasn’t that good until JD4 and JD2014 where they finally made the motion detection somewhat accruate.

i heard this song from jimmy fallon on his thanksgiving float last year....
They only put a black and white filter on him and then lightened his face. And they didn’t completely get rid of the visual face because when the face has a shadow over it you can see it so not much change from the beta.
