Hi, nice idea, but the castor angle of the rear bike is causing it to lean to the outside when the lead bike is turning. For optimum stability, both bikes should lean (bank) by the same angle when cornering. You could improve the handling by rotating the forks 180 degrees on the rear bike (therefore reducing the castor angle as much as possible). You would of course then have to rotate the handlebars on the rear bike 180 degrees, or they would be facing backwards...........
Is cool. not exactly a tándem bike. But was built for dad and son. This make a great and funny project. Congratz for the work. And dad. hoy will need a long rest. Before trail te kid
Nice video and great little project!!!! I have to say however that this build isn't going to give you a true tandem bike riding experience. This is more similar to a regular (single) bike hitched up to and towing a trailer. True tandem bikes don't articulate and the frames are also MUCH stiffer with far less frame flex between the captain and the stoker - so the handling is going to be much better and the overall riding experience is going to be much different from this. But still a nice project you have there! Cheers👍

so glad you liked it, I was thinking of making the bars and front tire upside down next
I just wanted to do myself a project like what you did...ha8
wondered how heavy that wobbly is while riding.
Thanks for upload this.
Congratulations. Great work. Enjoy.
Brilliant

Cool one fellas.
I had this same idea, however you guys did a way better job.
Neat all right
I wish travel with my child. Do you think that are security?
Wow that was fun guys
Great idea!! Did you fix the fork or didn't make any changes?
No, but it works good and was easy to get used to
@@sagesbikesandboards1561 Nice! Thank you.

yes, i know just a fun simple build we where thinking of making a centipede bike off it
@@sagesbikesandboards1561 Wow that wold be fantastic!!!

this was a fun project I hope you like it too :)
you should try to lock / prevent the bike on the rear to steer so it will function as a real tandem bike... ride safe
you would have to them take the middle wheel otherwise it wouldn't turn and if you did it would majorly weaken the frame
good and easy but need more work
I think the idea came from here :

I made it from 2010 & upload here 2012
