Light waves from an object enter the eye through cornea. Which is transparent dome located in the front of the eye.

This signals transmitted to the optic nerve to the visual to the center of the brain in the occipital lobe. The Brains translate the electrical signals into an upright image.
Common Vision Problems
Myopia or Nearsightedness is a visual abnormality in this condition eye focuses the image of the distant object in front of the retina instead on the retina as a result blurred image formed. Myopia can be corrected by concave lens.
Hyperopia or Longsightedness) the eyes focuses the image behind the retina Hyperopia can be corrected by convex lens.
