Isabelle Furhman seemingly never ages. She may have grown taller, but she’s still able to retain her youthful features. Esther has become such an iconic character in the realm of horror flicks. Chuuzus, your reactions are fairly enjoyable and so easy to watch. You’re like our own best friend that we can always lean on for support. I bet ZZAVID is proud of how much you’ve evolved. You used to be small, but now you’re an unbreakable force.

They used CGI on her to make her look younger and even made the cast wear platform shoes to make them taller than her. They did a lot of work to make her still look like a kid tho. I will say her more mature features make it really like she's truly PRETENDING to be a kid yknow. Really good shit
I thought this movie was great tbh. The twist was unexpected and I loved how the dynamic back and forth Esther and her mother was handled. Only thing I say should've been better was the fact they didn't dive deeper into Esthers backstory as they shouldve. The family's secret should've been explored more too. Felt a little rush at times
I really want a "Lena horror graphic novel" this franchise should keep it up.. I feel there's so much they can do with her back story.. I think she was a good person but went through yrs of neglect from real family, no friends, bullied, always picked on.. then trains her self to kill, use her dwarfism to get around as a child to make it easier to get her own way and get away with it.. I don't believe she was born evil. If u really think about it, she got revenge for the real Esther. Long live Esther!!!
your right she was a good person but her father sexually abused her since infancy then he stopped and told her that she’d never be a real woman and he found a different girl it drove leena into insanity and because of her looking like a child she always wanted a mans love or at the very least have a man after what her father said so technically i feel bad for her it was her fathers doing

Because the solution to their issue with real Esther being missing was already said and done. Then pretending she came back doesn’t seem worth the risk of them knowingly letting some crazy person into their life and all this hoopla about Esther being found and the attention it brought. But alas, it’s a movie so I’ll go with it. I still liked it.

NO one knows what really happened to esther they thought she was kidnapped so if they said that wasn’t the real esther bc the real esther is dead , the police would want to find the truth abt her murder and the brother and mom would go to prison while the husband would probably hate both of them for lying and hurting his little girl :( sad

When I first watched the orphan 2009 I was young I was rooting for the family but now in this movie I was rooting for Leena but the dad didn’t deserve to die though and the brother killing the sister reminds me of the jonbenét Ramsey case

The 'twist' was pretty obvious, I mean, the only reason why the brother wouldn't be happy to have her back would be if he knew exactly what happened to his 'original' sister. The 'maniac' scene in the car was a lot of fun!
