Very informative video I just bought one for my RR Velar Thank you Matt love your videos!
I would love to have the CR Spotless soon! I am also looking at different alternatives for a bigger tank.
A suggestion is that you can hook up a Y valve at input (or upstream of it) and a shutoff valve at the output (to prevent the bypass from syphoning). Makes use a bit easier, as well as you can keep the CR spotless away from the washing area.
You should upload more often, your videos are great!
Man, I would love one of those...
I like the "I don't need this" and "I don't like stickers". The more I watch your videos the more I enjoy your side comments. To funny
What happens if I didn’t Teflon tape the inlet and outlet of the CR Spotless ??? I am having issues with small leaks and not sure if I taped it or not when I got it a year ago
oh wow i want one of these so bad!
holy shit that is so much cheaper than i thought it would be
wow thanks for making this video i am going to look into purchasing on of these or one of the smaller models
chrismay1a my girl got one for free today... And gave it to me 💑 she coooool...
Nice Matt, thanks for the review ! I really need that system. Here in Sac we cant wash our cars anymore, so I go the the quarter wash (do it myself) and I use Chemical guys Max suds2 due to the fact that this has a water softer in the product, and the quarter was has some what a filtered system. I use the two bucket method, people at the car wash think I'm crazy but... well I'm a car guy....
That sux, not sure how cali is gonna survive, droughts, earthquakes, fienstien!!! I got out of Sacramento 12 years ago, now I'm in central Oregon surrounded by volcanos!!!! Lol
Are we going to get a demo video this weekend. I am very interested in seeing how this works.
Wouldn't you use the mist rinse option on your hose nozzle to rinse off your car when using the CR Spotless. Kind of like the car wash that uses spotless rinse. Instead of using your pressure washer?
Gilmour quick connects are available at Lowe's for around $5 a set if you need them for the weekend. I just picked up a few recently. I'm sure Home Depot and others would have them as well.
Anthony GXP Great tip! I'll go grab some on my way home from the gym this morning.
I used to work for a water treatment company. Got one of those in really big house form installed on the main line into my house, works great! My whole house is di-ionized and my drinking water is Reverse Osmosis. Love them, life time replacement for free, I only worked for them long enough to get the stuff! Lmaoo
"Reverse Osmosis" is just marketing gubbins, lol. But I have a similar whole-house system, and I'd never go back! It's wonderful!
I like the RO, and working for the place I've seen how it works! And I never used to drink water until I got the RO system! Now my body craves it; the purer the water the more it will be absorb into your system!
I know, but it's basically just a fancy way of saying it's boiled. That's the purest water possible, distilled vapor from boiling. It's also not good to only drink that kind, because it can dehydrate you and actually pull minerals out of your body.
+Corey Brown The more pure the water, the more readily the water will leach electrolytes out of your body. DI tanks are designed to attract impurities out of the water. But pure 0 ppm water is unstable. It will immediately start to become impure once purified. RO water is fine but no one should drink DI water on a regular basis.
costco in lihue Hawaii 299$ yesterday so stoked
Wouldn't it be better to use it for the final rinse step only? Which you do with the normal hose in order to shed most of the water? Just thinking.
***** I will be using it as a final step. You could certainly use it with a regular hose, but the pressure washer will use much less water.
Damn it you're going to make me buy this too!! Could you make a review video on it next time you wash your car? Would be helpful
Patane7 Sure will.
What size are the hose adapters for the Filter Housing? 1"x1" or 3/4"x3/4" fine threads to coarse?
+Eric Coffman I'm not sure man.
Darn, it's getting expensive trying to keep up with the Moreman's . Just purchased the Rupes mini, Eley hose and reel, multiple bottles of product - and now ya pull out the CR Spotless . Who said watching these videos was free ? :) I need to flip a car to get the Kranzel next....
Scott H Nice! In full disclosure, I got this one for free!
Scott H I feel you bro. I ended up getting the Kranzle k1152tst Adams washpad and Carshampoo because of these videos! I love them though! Awesome videos
Did it work with the Pressure Cleaner?
+Bandit Yes, it works great.
+Matt Moreman thanks, after I posted that I seen the video of you using it..
do you go to the same barber as chris harris? love the look: escape from an institution for the criminally insane!
edward simon Ha, ha... I think it's the curse of too much intelligence.
"The DIC-20 provides approximately 300 gallons of mineral-free, de-ionized water based on your water input quality."
so wait does that mean if i fill up a 300 gallon water tank i would have to change the resin filter after each refill?
chrismay1a I think so. Deionized water isn't cheap.
Using this withthr pressure wash is not a good idea because, it will not as effective.......with the pressure wash, it will use water way faster than 2 gallons per minute....
DIY Thai Foods I"m pretty sure that is incorrect.
U mean by sing eith thr pressure wash is incorrect or ith the garden hose is incrrect?
+DIY Thai Foods it would be much more effective and efficient using this with the pressure washer.
That depends on how much water your particular pressure washer uses. The CR Spotless is rated for no more then 2.5 gpm. My pressure washer is 1.5 gpm so the resin would last longer for me.
