- welcome back once again to the secret show in my room! today we visit the story of spawn and batman and there very first meeting back in 1994. spawn batman 1994 by Todd McFarlane and Frank Miller deals with Dr. Margarette love a lady of the people or so everyone thinks. deep in the dark city of New York she plots to eliminate and change all of the homeless and disenfranchised humans into cyborg servants stripped of there will and freedom of choice. through the story batman and spawn don't quite seem to see eye to eye but eventually are forced to put aside there differences and work together as a team. Todd McFarlane is the original author of spawn and artist to tons of different franchise's as well as the man who started IMAGE Comics a fantastic company that tells a wide variety of different stories. Frank Miller is the creator of the hit comic SIN CITY as well as a bunch of other iconic comic books and seeing these to work on the same comic is a fun experience even if it leaves a little left to be desired. Mid evil spawn and witch blade is a great story and crossover check it out the art is great and the story holds up

I guess theres a new one the one im talking about is the 96 version. Lol there is a steam punk goblin piloted mech in it.
@@rogersmith494 cool I'll def pick it up I love stories that conclude in 5-6 issues anything over gets extremely hard to cover haha but always fun to read either way , Iv been trying to get my hands on all the cool 90s stories , working on my Constantine collection right now

I remember reading this and really enjoying it when I was a kid. There were 2 versions if I remember correctly. A DC version and an Image version.
Yep this one and batman spawn war devil's which has a pretty neat art style and story about the disappearence of Roanoke! Dont change the way you do things.....the only .only....thing i can think of is just a bit more panels i enjoy seeing your reactions and such and your analysis and your "take" on events ....how two ppl can read the same thing and come to two conclusions
