I love your reaction to this song. Definitely watch and listen to more Aldous Harding. She is extraordinary!! Her videos seem to create a dreamlike quality that maybe aren't literal, but somehow look how the music feels. I really loved your reaction to Susanne Sundfòr as well. We are spoilt at the moment with really amazing and original female artists! ❤️

Her voice is make me silence, her voice like an autumn, the wave of her voice make me FREEZ, I dont know why,, just like it. Play it again!!!

Just know that she changes the way she sings from song to song. She can sound like the most fragile , antique Ophelia, or the most formidable Viking warrior , without sounding affected or inconsistent

Glad you liked it, and I swear I'm not trying to make Ginger cry! I do love a moving, somber ballad, though. Aldous' music and videos are always a bit of a Rorschach test. She likes to tackle emotional subjects at odd angles, and sometimes she gets under your skin before you even know it. Stop Your Tears is the very first song from her first album. She's made two additional albums since then. I just happened to stumble upon her work a few years back, and she's become one of my favorites.

I love her voice and the melancholy feel to the song.

As a New Zealander I love Aldous Harding. This was a bit esoteric.

I’ve been on a kick trying to find this song’s origins based on what the artist felt when she wrote it. There are some oddly specific references to it that I found during a really hard time in my life.

Didn't find the music a tear jerk-er but the lyrics were. The video didn't blow my dress up though but Aldous has such a great voice, love it. Mike, listen to the Stones "Start Me Up" it makes grown man cry, lol. Great react guys :)

Maybe check out 'Royals' or 'Greenlight' by Lorde. She is from New Zealand also. They are good songs

Imagining My Man is my favourite song of her. Such a beautiful instrumentation, but very reduced. But you should watch a lyrics video or only audio, because the official video shortens the song a lot

Hello! Not my ordinary music to listen to. But so much emotions in her voice. We have singers in Sweden which sounds little like that. I am a emotional one. I am nagging about it earlier and i am continuing to do it. Please, please do AURORA Lucky in Nidarosdomen. I think you love that.

I can see the video being about addiction and needing alcohol to create a social "masK" but in reality people see that you're struggling or using alcohol to socialize and are addicted? But I don't understand the tie in with the daughter, and being at the water with her. It does seem like she has messed up skin from taking off the mask in the scenes with her and the girl, but I don't understand beyond that....
