Everybody between the ages of 38 and 46 has sat with this song on repeat and cried at least once, including these guys. I'm sure this song has a lot of meaning to them. They did it justice.

OK it's official, there's nothing Home Free cannot cover well! Everyone keep in mind that comparing it to the original is extremely tough compared to other songs. The original group was four A Capella capable singers (Boyz II Men), that also had fully synthesized bass and rhythm backing them up. This is five guys, one is a beat boxer, and they have to cover the bass singing part, and also the bass rhythm that was synthesized originally. This is absolutely amazing work. The original is a hard act to follow. It spent something like three months at number one on the charts. I still have the original burned into my memory, and I'm sure others do also. After listening to this several times, it truly is an amazing job. Well done Home Free. That song is approaching untouchable, but you pulled it off.

One more day and I'm done so I ordered Man of Constant Sorrow cd and When a Man loves a Woman....and now... I want this song too. I am blown away by the extraordinary skills and talent. TY TY TY

Ikr best beatboxer I’ve ever heard his Tom sounds are so clearer than anyone else’s I’ve heard they are the hardest to emphasise in beatboxing and he stays loyal to a so far original percussion because he is that good. Other beatboxers make it different because they either can not remember what the original one sounds like or can’t do it so they make their version where he mimics exactly how it is most times with a few variations

Rob, I'm a retired professional musician, maybe somewhat jaded and perhaps a little snobbish......and a damn good woodwind player who absolutely loves music. I've been listening to Home Free for about a year almost every day, and sometimes almost all night. You absolutely stunned my wife as well. I don't want to give the impression that I don't have tremendous respect and appreciation for every one of you. Each one of you has several tunes that demonstrate you skills and they are all wonderful. I've always thought you, Rob, had lurking back there somewhere, a nice chunk of soul that would just sort of pop out for a bit here and there and I've wondered when you would just let it out. Well, my boy, you did it. It just reached out and grabbed me and I thought "yeah, he did it", and you really did. Thank all of you for this tune, each one of you. I like the arrangement, the intonation, the time, the recording and video and that goes for every one of your videos I've seen. Thank you Rob, for letting it out and thank you all for creating this music which is so great.

Definitely, I hope you do see them. I was lucky enough to see them live twice. Once with Chris, and once with Adam. It's better than you can even imagine. There are more acapella groups out there just some or many are not seen as much as others. Home Free does an awesome job on any song but not the only acapella group around. anytime do a search and guessing u will find some more good groups that can do same deal , but we know everyone has their fave group for any reason.
Personally while I love Homefree, I prefer Voiceplay. But I could go either way, they're both incredible

Like I’ve told my kids, great soul music and the voices that sing it has nothing to with colour! It’s a feeling! I've never attempted or planned to commit suicide, but I HAVE been dealing with chronic major depressive disorder that doesn't respond well to treatment for 20+ years. Music has always had a big impact on my emotional / mental health, but there is something extra special about this group. I've had the honor of seeing them perform live five times including two with meet-&-greets. The tickets with the upgrades were expensive (for me), & two of them required driving 4 hours each way. But it's worth it because those few precious hours at their concerts are some of the only times I can get out of my own head & be truly happy. I pray that your brother is better now & continues to stay healthy. Even though I don't know you or your brother, I am so thankful that Home Free helped him decide to stick around in this crazy world.
