    Campsite Review 📱
    📍Winderabandi Point
    đŸ’Č$8 P/N P/P
    🔌 Dump point
This goes down as our favourite spot in Australia so far! Absolutely bloody spectacular đŸ€©
We were so excited to get here, but we were anxious that we would be disappointed due to our high expectations; it exceeded our expectations 10x🙌
Imagine towing your caravan down to the edge of some of the most pristine beachfront you’ve ever seen. That’s precisely what this place delivers☀
We stayed on site 32 and honestly think this is the pick of the bunch; the sand is not too soft, so you are less likely to get bogged, easy access, the sites are enormous, and you’re protected by the point, meaning even if the winds are bad your still somewhat protected đŸ™đŸŒ
We booked for 4 nights and ended up staying 13; leaving is so hard. The swimming is spectacular, the turquoise water and the snorkeling off the point are to die for.
We were fortunate to see sharks, turtles, dolphins and a heap of beautiful fish! It’s like a bloody aquarium under there🐟
There are two ways to get to Winderabandi, we came via Ningaloo Road and found it pretty good compared to what was expected but I believe it may have been graded a few weeks before. There were still some rough parts, but nothing we couldn’t handle. I would recommend dropping tyres down to 20-25 PSI on the car & van to make it a little more comfortable over the rough stuff.
You will definitely need a 4WD to get into here as the sand is soft on the beach in some parts 🚙
The campground offers very little in terms of facilities, so make sure you have enough water and supplies for the duration of your stay.
There is a bore water tap a few km down the road, which you can use to fill up your tanks for showers etc., but not for drinking 💩
This joint is deadset what caravanning goals are made of ❀
