I think I would geek out so much if ever I was to walk in an enter this space. I could hang out here for hours. Really inspiring job you did to bring it all together!
Same I can sit for hours and just play some records
Well, there is an awesome record collection, a couch and a bar.
Sooo...I probably wouldn't leave until he kicks me out.
You said it!! 😄
that room is extremely cozy
I spy, Ren and Stimpy. #Sweet! 🤘😁
Dont whiz on an electric fence. 🤣
I’m a carpenter and made something similar to this for a client a while back.
You did a fine job
BTW, I bought my very first record the day after The Beatles appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show I was 9yrs old in NJ in 1964. I'm now recently retired after 37 years of trucking across our beautiful country. Now I need to touch them after so much time has passed me by. So many of things you spoke of spoke directly to my heart. I have mostly Rock, maybe 500+ blues and some jazz. I could type for hours here, lol
Be back later . Bob.
I love that they’re not on a shelf with the spines out. So much easier to find stuff and looks better.
I have that square of dead space between two record shelves too, and I also put mic stands and stuff in it- it actually works great for that! Thanks for the inside look, really lovely space.
Great setup and for whatever reason I love that you put on a suit to film your videos. To me it shows how much you care.
WOW! It's like walking in a record store..I see my fav artist David Bowie
Hey I see your Australian AC/DC High Voltage LP! Awesome!
Well done, that entire studio has such a great retro theme/vibe.
I love vinyl and am an audio engineer since 1966. There is hope for damaged vinyl. I've fixed many trashed records via digital technology. It works. If I had lots of money, I could have the fixed audio cut to a lacquer and pressed to vinyl
Congratulations Eric, that space is really beautiful you really deserve it! And cheers for more years into collecting
Your setup looks great. You must feel a great sense of completion. Congratulations.
How about doing a story or a rundown on all the US Beatles albums that Capitol released. Keep up the good work and thanks.
To any who might be interested in rescuing damaged vinyl, first step is to thoroughly clean the record preferably in a sonic cleaner. Next step is to try different shapes of styli. A spherical may sound better than either an elliptical or line contact stylus. Also try different size styli. Work with a good DAW in a program that has good restoration plugins.
I don’t have this “problem “ yet. Some day I hope to though.
Looks so good! I bet you will be playing records that you haven't played in a while, with them being displayed like that!
You may have had to give up some of your collection because it doesn't 'spark joy' but I can tell that beautiful room does!
You made a comment about it looking like a record store. I don't think that's a bad thing. I have great memories of going to Tower Records in San Jose, back in the day, and looking through the stacks.
I do miss those days, although we have Silver Platters here in the Seattle area. They've been selling vinyl for a while. Fortunately, I still have most of the records I bought back in the day. Props to your wife for being part of the vinyl family!
Oh and I love that Elton Tumbleweed poster. That is my fav EJ album.
Nice room. The records fit your decor and don’t look out of place.
I screamed and yelled when I saw that MetalJesusRocks EP!
Mate be having a whole record store inhouse
It really looks great
Congrats
That is quite a set-up there, Eric...That looks like the most comfortable space to play records, have a drink and just hang out...It almost makes you never want to leave! It's like the ultimate retro mancave, my friend! If you sell some of those records at a local shop, they should put them in a special bin titled "The Vinyl Rewind Collection", so that customers who are channel fans can own a piece of The Vinyl Geek's personal collection!
Just amazing, and I can only imagine the feeling of building something just for you!!
Looks like an actual record shop!! Love it. The shelving is just like Grimeys in Nashville
I'm so glad to see a cool designed room that isn't just a set for the main show.
Totally amazing! Love everything about it.
This rules man. The vibe is immaculate.
What a fantastic room! Congratulations it looks wonderful.
Watching this really put a smile on my face.Such a cool room! Its a work of art!
Beautiful space! Great job and thanks for sharing!
Looks fantastic!!! I wish I had mine faced out. I love that look. Great job!
Cheers,
Brian☘️

Really nice. I have to reorganize my collection, this has given me inspiration, thank you
It looks amazing. Congratulations on a job well done.
That is beyond AWESOME my friend. One special piece to me is that 7" singles space you put in there. So cool!!! The retro feel of the room though is amazing!
Love what you have done
You have inspired me to set up my own record room
Nice job 👍
I love your bar area so much. I’ll definitely be drawing inspiration from that in the future. Well done making you’re vision come to life. You have a good eye for design.
Looks incredible! What a great idea to enjoy your vinyl collection! Love the ode to the "Jungle Room" bar area too!!!
I need work in a listening room too, I love how you were designed this space for your records and for enjoy a drink. Congrats!
Wow! Good job! Looks amazing. It sure paid off to take your time and plan it out.
So classy - having proper record store shelves is just fantastic.
I absolutely love your passion, this was a joy to watch you share your joy, I mean it, this made my day
Great collection and decor.
Just noticed the Ren & Stimpy LP 👊🏻💥
Love your choice of stain … looks great. Very cool you have a 7” singles section. Room looks so awesome.
I bet it does feel so good to be in there, cool vibe, very nice👌
The room looks awesome. Congrats on getting your record racks up.
Great space dude, so much better to have the records facing out. I have enjoyed your channel for a few years. Keep it up
This room is amazing!! I love it when records are forward-facing so that you can actually see them, as opposed to just seeing the spines. AWESOME!!

Excellent setup...I have my collection of probably about 200 or so records across a long wooden crate that I can store below my turntable and two other plastic crates that I keep next to that. I am relatively new to collecting but I am really enjoying it and enjoy your channel, keep up the good work.
I’ve been planning in my head my music room for years. I have tons of records, CDs, cassettes, dvds, vhs, books, posters, guitars, and video gear. Congrats your room rules.
Amazing. It looks great!
That looks like an awesome set up.
So awesome! Great job!
Looks great!
I dig it. It's like a cosy cave
Oh this looks lovely! Really wonderful, dreamy, grown up Brady Bunch and very much "you!" :)
Weird Al and Metal Jesus Rocks! 🤘🏻
this looks amazing
Love the room, me and the wife have a music room that we spend our weekends there and enjoy !
Wow! So cool!
Holy cow, man! This is my absolute favorite of ALL your videos. I've shown my wife some snippets of your room in videos because it's along the lines of what I'm doing. I'm 68 and absolutely love mid century interior design - even before it became popular. And after decades, I finally built a 30x60 shop building, and took a 16 foot slice of it and turned it into my music room. Like you, I have roughly 3,000 records, and a thousand or so that I'll probably get rid of. I have lots of mid-century nick-nacks, furniture and hanging lights similar to yours.
I've been trying to decide whether I wanted to go with a "white" room or go with a dark motif, using my vintage lighting (with LED's, obviously) to bring light just where I need it. Your video sold me on the latter.
And another equally important part: For my main rotation I've been using a 4x4 cube Ikea shelf (you know the one), and like you, I really hate the records all being viewed from the side. I've thought about the "record store" type racks and, again, you've sold me! And I build stuff like that in the attached shop (now that I'm retired). And regarding the rest of it - the furniture, the bar, the wall coverings, I LOVE IT! I'm going for a bit different color scheme, but your room is a huge inspiration. Mine is placed on 32 acres in rural Kentucky (moved here from Seattle 11 years ago) and I got much of my stuff at Seattle estate sales before I moved. Anyway, well done!
Awesome setup! I want to have something similar in the future.
Beautiful space
Very nice, great job 🎶😎
That's awesome, man. I'm jealous!
I had to downsize my 3,000 + collection last year. Just tired of moving them with me everywhere and space was always an issue.
I now have about 200, not counting my 45s or 78s. I kept only the most valuable records (valuable to me, though some are worth a decent amount of money). If I ever settle down and have the cash, I'll do something like what you did there. I love albums and 1970s decor.
Man, that is awesome!
I want those Bowie records & In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning. One of these days.
Nice Room! I've always wanted to build a shelf that holds one record and says "Now Playing," just so I can have a place to put the empty record jacket. Now I'm inspired.
Ha! That's f'in sweet, dude. Fantastic job.
Geek the pad looks great! Sad to hear about to collection downsize woes, Im having the same issue now with mine. But still its amazing to see the complete setup, gives me so many ideas✌🏻
man this looks good!!
Great work. Front-to-back storage is the dream, but it's really tough to come by.
This is so unbelievably fire
wow that room is amazing!
Fantastic!!!
that freespace in the middle is a perfect fit for a grammopone or magazines from "that era" too.
Omg I love this room
the amount of weed and music I would do or listen to is insane. this is like the perfect sesh and listen to records place
Looks like a fricken record store! Cool
Great Collection
Love the room as a whole! I am a professional carpenter so I know how expensive plywood is these days I was estimating 2 sheets for each unit. Love the leather tufted bar and you Eames chair!
I didn’t know you had Weird Al! Nice!
Very nicely done, love the 60s vibe. It boils down to style vs. storage. I think I have about 15K records so storage is more of a motivator for me. I will be culling them trying to get down to half that number. Like you I have stuff that I bought or abused through the years, lot of duplicates and various pressings.
Can’t believe with all the crappy channels out there that have over a million subscribers you only have 200k. I just came across your channel a week ago and love it. Great job!
So cool!!!! I wish that was my man-cave
I would love to have the space and money to do something like this. Dream room! Looks lovely.
