We use this instrument to perform a test called a lung function test. This test helps us determine if a person has asthma and accurately assesses the severity of the condition. 👍🏻
📍The patient blows as much as possible into this mouthpiece. The values are analysed in the computer, and we review the report to assess the asthma severity.
📍If the patient achieves more than 70% level, it is considered normal. If the percentage is below this level, we start inhaler therapy.
