    1:47 Don't miss the waterfalls on both sides of the exit (Wairarapa side). Also just across the bridge outside that exit, on your right (that would be left side if your looking back at the tunnel) there is a hidden feature, a short tunnel through solid rock for the creek that crosses under the bridge to head on down to Wairarapa. You can walk through the tunnel if you follow the creek from beside the bridge).
    The swing bridge is in a location known as Siberia (You'll figure why when you get there). This is the location where on Saturday 11 September 1880, a gust of wind ripped the upper body off the chassis of one of the carriages & sent it into the valley killing 3 children with a 4th dying a month later from his injuries.
    Can you make it through the tunnel without a torch. On a bike your clicking chain helps you echo-locate.. If your walking, before your mid-way it may be near pitch black ahead, but look behind...
