DISCLAIMER: I invite all corrections for the benefit of learning correctly.
Okay, so firstly the "pho" in Maphorisa is a "P" sound and not an "F" sound, as is "Pha" in Phara.
To my knowledge the song was made by DJ Raybel and named after a dance craze that mimics the way gangsters* who are sometimes called Pharas or Amaphara/ Amaphara-phara in Zulu walk hence iWalk ye Phara - the walk of the Phara. (The "i" being pronounced phonetically i.e. "ee"). It then caught the attention of DJ Maphorisa who re-released it with Raybel and featured the verses of K.O and Zulu Mkhathini. Moonchild was a later addition as the original lady to do a was verse vocalist TDK Macassette.
* Note: The word gangsters is used loosely as the people are not necessarily gang-affiliated...mostly...we hope LOL
Anyway,
This song is in Xhosa and Zulu with Moonchild Sanelly mixing Xhosa with her mostly Zulu verse and then switching to Xhosa for her pre-hook verse. K.O. and Zulu Mkhathini complete the tune in Zulu.
Moonchild Sanelly speaks of a girl and guy who go hard with the dance .
"Nay'le ngani le walk yomhlaba" (Here's the girl with the walk of the land)
"Nay'le walk ye Phara" (This is the Phara Walk)
...
"Nay'le le dude le walk yomhlaba" (Here's the dude with the walk of the land)
The chorus:

Awu Sweet wodwa lo (Just doing the sweets over here) [Sweets being the name to another dance that is done simultaneously with the walk when one extends their hand out as though offering someone sweets]

K.O and Zulu Mkhathini do really add a hard Hip-Hop feel to it.
There are a few explicit references that have raised eyebrows of listeners, most notably Moonchild's mention of a man's 'third knee' as Tonye once put it (mangena ba bamb'i... yeah, it's rather difficult for me to type) and Zulu Mkhathini's line mentioning how performer and socialite Zondwa Wabantu drops her panties in public (Bathi uZodw'u drop' idilozi).
Side note: I'd like to know why the was quick periodic clips in portions of the video. Was it intentional? Was it a result of editing? It perosnally made the song feel slightly choppy but nothing too concerning, I'm just looking to know.

I'm not one to comment on CZcams videos, but I was wondering if you guys could do a reaction to the music of the SA hip-hip pioneers that passed recently. Namely Ben Sharpa, Prokid, and HHP.
The reason for the choppy vid clip is due to copyright, sony music which owns sound blocked the full video, so to get the clip out to you guys we had to do it this way unfortunately

The "ph" in Dj Maphorisa is not pronounced as an f, it is pronounced as a light"p", like the p in perfume. Same goes to 'Phara' Great reaction guys :)
In SA guys, the letter 'h' means you put emphasis on the letter before it, so 'ph' isn't 'f', it is instead *'P'* .
