Hi! I'm 18 and I haven't been sure what I want to do for a career since started High School. I'm a senior two months from graduating and I've been really nervous because I knew college wasn't right for me. I'm a hands-on learner who loves organizing and details. My friend mentioned they were going to a technical school to become a dental hygienist and it hadn't occurred to me that technical schools had dentistry courses! Thanks to her and this video I know what I'm going to do!
I start school in a month paying my way working at a liquor store I’ve been at for 4 years wasting my life away drinking I’m proud to say I’m sober and so excited to begin a career I can be proud of wish me luck!!

Nothing is wrong with being a dental assistant. But the video read “ A Day in the Life of A Dental Hygienist” . But they recently corrected it. @career5690
It all depends where you live. I live a work as dental nurse in London UK, and we are allowed absolutely no Polish whatsoever,and nails have to be kept super short. On the other hand in USA it’s completely normal for dental assistants to even wear acrylics/gel. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

With all those certificates do you get paid more?
It honestly depends on the state and your dental office but typically RDA's get paid more than DA's
