Went fishing in Bay 28 at the river Humber and just felt like I’d returned home to see my Mum, if only. Cracking day for me in such a familiar mark to me. Great session to round up my Humber fishing.

The hounds are in on the Solent coast now. Picked up a couple, best just under 9 LD, on the beach couple of nights ago.

Yes remembered the birthday for once and didn’t get moaned at so wife enjoyed the meal. Yes remember the strike and the green goddesses that saved the day. All over the news in the 70s. Should bring back the Black Marias and the coppers to go in them also. That might sort stuff out. 🤣🤣🤣. Egg bap was good but all I had eaten that day. Good birthday had after work had a nice meal she was happy. So did good this time. Chuffed to fish bay 28 and round off the river with a couple off fish to boot. Raining here also. All the best stay safe Albert.
Very enjoyable again Vern. On the subject of your rod being stuck the other day. If you have someone helping you each person should have hold of the top and bottom section simultaneously when you’re trying to pull it apart. Definitely works. Give it a go next time. Any way tight lines
That’s what we did when I got to Scott but it was so tight I used the large rod eye as a leverage and bent it but sorted now. Came apart like you said but tight. We had 3 goes at it. Pleased you enjoyed Joyce all the best stay safe.

Not sure if i already said . But our lass didnt connect gas cannister up properly and we had a small fire 🔥 in boot of our car . I had to pick it up quick and throw it out on floor . We had a nice fallout .

Home from the worst family holiday, had to come home early. Just watched the video cooking with Vern with the odd flounder 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 your not catching as well since you stopped using the yellow tails can’t you get any live Rag worm up your way at all? Enjoyed the video as usual 👍👍👍👍👍
Couldn’t get the yellow tails as pick up was mainly at weekends and when I go during the week all were sold when I checked. Wasn’t going to do a 2 hour trip to get bait and be tied to fish when I don’t want to. It’s hard fishing from inland. When you can pick bait up no problem when you want to fish it’s great. On the coast now so the chance of getting some rag worm will be available so that to look forward to if the stuff works. Pleased you enjoyed video and cook up sorry to hear about your holiday couldn’t have been that bad🤔. Flounder all you get this time of year along with eel’s shortly but codling caught there in bay 28 2 days prior and I always say don’t chase fish but I did. Nice days fishing and 2 flounder is good enough for me. All the best Alan go cook a verns 28 egg butty 🥪 🤣🤣🤣 but don’t burn your mouth the cheese is red hot stay safe.

Let’s hope it improves but that river humber only really produces flounder or eels. Odd Bass but slows down. I’m on beaches now so hopefully will catch more. Maps I don’t do. I leave that to others. Just google map the names I call where I fish and it’s more fun seeing where I am. Bit of investigation 🤗🤗. Just google map immingham, Tronix factory and you can zoom in along sea defence and see bay 28. Hope that helps matey. If you follow along that river bank past Humber bridge you can see all the marks I’ve fished over the years. Pleased you enjoyed and thanks for your support. All the best Brian.
