About TMG:
- TMG podcast is a podcast where comedians Cody Ko and Noel Miller talk to each other (it's a podcast).
seeing them roast their songs hurts i genuinely like them 💀
FOR REAL
Yeah I love all their old music :(
dw, artists never like their old songs
I know, it like hurts my feelings.
they keep me sane
Walkman is in fact actually a banger guys.
still listen to it to this days tbh
literally the best song they made, perfect mixture of nice and goofy song
@@slick3996 facts
It's phenomenal
@@slick3996My favorites are BYOB, G Fuel and Sofia🤙🏽 Sofia was too fire🔥
Props to Cash for being comfortable in his solitude!
Introvert King
Going to the theater by yourself is the superior experience 🔥
@@ki5282 facts
I'm the same way. Once you learn to get comfortable with it, It's so freeing.
Yeah, based af
I still love walkman- i cant believe they hate it
the only hate it cos it went popular, that's just the kind of dudes they are, especially Noel
right?? it goes hard unironically
@@morrigangg u right about that. I think Cody genuinely likes it
it's one of my faves too! it's so goofy and that's what is so good about it!
It’s so good.
I’m with Cash 100%. As a NYer ain’t gonna miss shit if people’s schedules don’t line up with mine. I’d have missed so many awesome concerts if that was the case.
Hell yeah 🤝 I've only gone to concerts at Barclays and MSG solo for this reason. I was kind of worried at first, but it's so much fun. I also saw a lot of people not fully enjoying shit cuz they were scared of being judged by the people they were with for letting loose and having fun
hahaha bro i didnt think it was so weird to go to concerts alone, i have done it multiple times and it went well
I hope Cash continues to make people uncomfortable by treating himself
I had no idea going to events/concerts/movies by yourself was such an out there concept. It's my favorite thing to do, you don't have to worry about anyone else, but you. If I happen to make friends there, cool. If not, I got to enjoy what I like regardless.
I'm not allowed to bring enough weapons in to concerts to feel safe enough by myself lol
For my birthday I literally bought tickets to the symphony for myself and I am so excited. I went to a movie premeire and I had so much fun by myself
Right? I’m still amazed how many people give a shit about the opinion of others. Man I’m 23 and I go out eating alone, it’s so freeing hahaha
Going to the movies by yourself is honestly so much better bc you can't talk to your party during anyways and you don't have to share snacks or anything
I went to watch the batman movie with my roommate and the dumbass sang the intro song out loud. EVERYONE looked at us. Who does that?????
Ion know man I just feel so lonely when I go by myself
I’d much rather go with my girlfriend
I don’t know. I prefer being able to talk about the movie after with who’s ever there, yknow?
There’s this tiny movie theater near me. I went last Saturday and I was the only person there. I got to laugh and chew as loud as I wanted. It was amazing
I was literally planning to go to one of Noel's shows by myself...
do it
Same I plan on going by myself I went to there show in 2019 by myself
I did go to one of his shows by myself lol
Same 😢😭😓😰
i was going to comment the exact same thing
"No Flex" is one of my favorite TMG songs and music videos, it's hilarious. The fact that the video didn't look extremely polished makes it more funny.
I’m exactly like Cash! It’s fun to hang out with people, but there’s nothing like going to the movies or a concert by yourself! Solo travel is also its own kind of fun
Same! Same with going out to eat. My friends judge me for it but it lowkey just takes confidence to not feel weird going out alone
Yup! Right before Covid I drove all over Cali by myself best 2 week road trip vacation ever!!
I'm with Cash on this one. If I want to see something whether movie, concert or whatever I'll go on my own rather than missing out because I didn't have anyone to go with. Not gonna rely on other people's availability or likes in order to do things that make me happy.
the fact I started bopping in my seat when they played that tiny part of Walkman and they said its bad- Its a banger guys- we love it
The Walkman beat and hook are absolute fire tho
I have a playlist on Spotify of all the TMG hits lmao. Still play it once a week or so
Been to lots of concerts by myself. Finally realized I was missing out on stuff I wanted to do by waiting for everyone's schedules to line up perfectly. You just get to a point where you don't care what anyone thinks anymore. It's freeing
Same. If none of my friends are able to go I just go by myself to concerts
Damn, I'm one of those people who saw Noel's show by themselves, lmao 😂
Me too bruh, I solo queued the show while I was injured
Cash is a real one. Going solo to events is better than missing out. Recently went to Jack Harlow by myself and Just got a solo ticket for Noel's Sydney show..
KNOCK IT OFF Is seriously your best song. The song itself and the clip...it's absolute GOLD! I PLAY IT ONCE A WEEK minimum. Always puts a smile on my dial.
Walkman is probably the most advanced lyrical song in this generation
Remember when I told my coworker that I went on a one day trip to this town next to us to just walk around and have something to eat at a local restaurant and he couldn't believe I did such a thing just by myself.
He was then talking about it with others to get reasurred he isn't the only one that thinks it's weird and they were all kind of worried about me in the end lol
Damn, don't let them gaslight you like that lol. It's totally not weird, some of my most memorable experiences come from going exploring or to events on my own. I think most people are too concerned about others thinking of them as "that one guy by themselves" but once you get over that insecurity, it's so freeing.
learning to be comfortable with yourself is the best thing you can do
I realized recently that some of my friends are as introverted as me and when we walk around and eat together, we don't say much. I'm like, I can enjoy all this alone. So a few days ago, I started walking around the city I've been living in for 9 years alone and its rlly not that bad. I did it cuz I had the intention of talking to ppl but I couldn't get myself too. I was pretty comfortable alone.
Imagine how much they miss out on the world by letting some social stigma of literally nothing ruin it for them lolol. Codependency.
damn your coworker might have a stroke when he finds out people go to completely different continents by themselves to walk around and eat at restaurants too 😂
I relate to Cash on that. It’s like “yeah, I’m here. This is what I wanted to do.” Not every moment needs to be shared
I went to a local music festival by myself once and it was one of the best weeks of my life honestly, got to see everyone I wanted to see, hung out with loads of different people who came on different days, very underrated thing to do!
yeah i go to concerts alone a lot, cant really talk during the show anyways might as well hit the pit solo and take it all in.
I've gone to concerts, comedy shows, movies and even festivals by myself and it's so much more enjoyable. Love meeting new people when I want to or keeping the f to myself when I don't feel social. Love it.
I have gone to EVERY concert I've ever attended by myself. Literally went in my first mosh pit.... by myself. There's something so freeing about being alone and having to make your own way in the world
Yes!!! I just went to my 4th show alone this year, and I booked pit tickets for a show in Chicago later this month. I was worried about solo travel at first as a woman, but it's so freeing as you perfectly said to scream your lungs out and dance without caring what anyone thinks
It's obvious looking at these comments that they're the weird ones for thinking it's weird to go to an event you want to see alone. The main purpose of a concert is to enjoy live music, the main purpose of a movie is to enjoy seeing the movie. It doesn't have to be a personal social hangout with a performance as nothing more than a backdrop.
No Flex was the first interaction with TMG content I ever had. Spotify recommended it to me and had me laughing on the way to work. Instantly saved
Same! I remember me and my long term GF had just broken up. I went to CZcams and it was recommended. Introduced me to TMG
I literally listened to walkman today. still bars.
they’re all certified hits idc what they say
I have a whole TMG (and TMG adjacent like Danny Gonzales bc his songs slap too and Yung Gravy) playlist that I still jam regularly. My daughter showed me No Flex and then I started watching y’all. We actually listened to TMG while waiting for my daughter’s surgery back in 2019 bc it got her laughing and made her forget she was nervous. Both of us, really. And it helped us thru the nightmare that was my Mom passing away the same night. We were staying with her, so it was traumatic in like 8 different ways. Anyways, I got off track. But don’t diss the old jams. They do hold up and I still rock them at least once a week. ❤
The first marathon I ran was in 2019. I started training that summer that Walkman dropped. Idk why but the energy from that song was just perfect for my runs. It took me to that right headspace. I would play it on repeat 5-10 times in a row for weeks. I will still stream it as a get in the right headspace song for a run.
Gotta say this vid has a whole lot of 🧢
Those songs are bangers to this day
Watching them flame their old songs low key hurts when I think about all the joy they brought me :(
it feels kinda wack, they used to be so proud of it and now they have “improved” they hate it
idc what you say, walkman is sooo good, i be lifting 2K with "I'm a fat man" blasting in my ears
Going to concerts by yourself is pretty common now I think. I’ve been to concerts by myself and I see many people with themselves. I don’t have a lot of friends with the same music taste so I have no other option. It’s cool because I do meet new people. I’d say concert goers are the most social group because everyone I’ve talked to were very nice and liked to talk.
it’s me. my bf and i always play these oldies every now and then 😅
Making decisions alone is incredible. Having a joyous moment with yourself and the event around you is monumental. But it is nice to share moments with someone or people, creating ripples of memories and stories throughout your friends and family
I'm going to a Harry Styles concert alone next year and I also love to go to the cinema alone lol It just lets you be fully immersed in the experience instead of having to shift your focus on the people that you're with, idk, I like going places by myself
I’ve gone to the movies alone. I’ve also gone to seattle alone. I was up n down over there all alone and I went to an arena concert alone. They were such amazing experiences.
100% this! It's the best feeling to book a ticket and hotel, and go on an adventure to watch a concert of an artist you love. Just did this in DC and gonna do it later this month in Chicago 🤘 nothing's more freeing
two weekends ago i drove 7 hrs to see Denzel Curry in St Paul by myself. im from winnipeg and no one comes to this trash city except chet hanks. but i feel you cash, going to concerts alone is sick.
i go to concerts alone all the time and it’s the best because no one bothers you and you can leave whenever you want
6:19 interesting timing for me seeing this, I've seen you in Berlin a few hours ago and I have been there by myself as well...One of the best experiences I had
Stay safe is criminally underrated
I saw Noel solo. The staff kept setting the food the guy next to me ordered between him and I instead of between him and his girlfriend.
Noel PLEASE put Loophole back on spotify it is unironically one of my fav songs
walk man SLAPS wtf is cody talking about, Walk Man and Sofia are in multiple playlists that i listen to every single day
Lmao I went to Noel’s show by myself and had to sit with strangers. It was indeed awkward when I was crying laughing and the other girls at the table were not laughing as hard
i have no friends willing to give my interests a try so i have to go to things by myself :( ive seen my fav band live like 3x but not once has anyone been willing to go with me lmao cody is so MEAN, i've driven 2 hours to go to a concert by myself and it was a damn good concert!!
ive been to concerts and movies alone and feel the exact same as Cash. i even wanted to see Noel on my own i have a small circle and no ones as interested in the same content and music as i am but thats never stopped me from going to see what i want and i have also taken solo trips from the bay to la literally for a concert and touring on my own 😆 best time of my life honestly
Say it with your chest, Cash! I with you on going to events alone, especially for shows/movies you would really enjoy
Literally still listen to these songs in the regular. Lol I love them so much. And not ironically.
Just waiting in new releases …
Lately when I'm at festivals I venture off on my own too to see an artist I like that my group may not mutually like so I can see how going alone could be just fine
I fully went to Noel’s show solo in Des Moines a few weeks ago
Hi Cody can I have a podcast? My wife is a true crime buff and I don't know anything about true crime and I'm a weenie.
Give this man a platform!
vouch
aaaah i hope they return to writing songs together soon i genuinely love their music
i’ve become an avid solo show goer, went as far as going to lolla this year alone like if i wanna see certain artists and my friends don’t i’m not gonna let that stop me from seeing them and most of the time the other fans are super nice so i just make friends there
y e s like I’ve seen so many artists that I love that I wouldn’t have been able to see if I had waited for someone to go with me and it’s always worth it
it’s true too sometimes you meet people that you just vibe with there and it’s even more fun
walkman is literally in my gym playlist 💀💀💀cant believe they hate those songs
I still live at home at 24 so I ask my mum to come to things with me. I went to a concert and she hated every second, but I love it 😂
going to movies by yourself is the best. just discovered that this year. and I always prefer concerts with other people, obvi, but if I wanna go see someone none of my friends do, I'll 100% go by myself. even if I have to drive far. it's not like I don't lose them in the crowd anyways, I'm always going ham
and u 100% become friends with everyone in the audience lmao
Hey I’ve went to a comedy show solo! I just sat in the back, had a drink or two and had a good time regardless lmao
Didn’t wanna waste free tix
Their songs are GOLDEN!
my dad likes your songs (I do too). his favourite is one that's not even on Spotify lol, the 'I'm rich' song (it was a parody). he likes it because of the "I pull up to the car wash, I have a better car than you" line, because he feels that way lol
I didn't expect to be targeted when I clicked this clip cause I've actually gone to three concerts by myself, AND I've been to one of Noel's shows by myself 💀
Get cash in front of the camera he’s got a nice voice
honestly I shuffle all of my music that I have added from middle school on and only delete the ones I really can't listen to anymore and TMG is not a part of that so they have never left and I usually don't skip when it comes across my shuffle
i live in the midwest and i roll solo to shows all the time.
They play Walkman in the south too
Cash is real. I love going to movies by myself!!!
TMG music is actually so good though. I remember my friend showing it to me years ago and I still listen to the music at least a few times a month since.
I listen to Walkman still ;-; it's just in a random playlist
I keep the TMG songs in rotation 😅😂 also I relate to Cash, it is so fun to just go to shit by yourself, it’s so freeing. You don’t have to worry about aligning with anyone else’s schedule and/or missing out on something just because a friend “couldn’t make it” that would be lame…why miss an experience you have time for over another person lol
4:38 the fact that I'm going to see my first stand up comedy show (Noel) all by myself in Montreal next week 😭 Cody not everybody has friends 😔
Cash is valid I love going to certain things by myself
cash is so real, going to the cinema alone is a vibe
i will go to comedy shows / concerts alone, it’s nice ngl. you just do you, you don’t have to wait for anyone or be held up.
for that being said, it is nice to go do things with people but if no one wants to go see the concert or comedy show that i wanna go, i’m going no matter what
i also go places alone, it does feel oddly strange at times
As someone in a small town in Canada, Walkman still goes hard af
Also I'm definitely like a thousand plays for each of the tmg songs
This episode had me faded chewing drugs like I'm pac man frfr
I’m not in Des Moines but I’m in Iowa City and best believe I’m still streaming Walkman til this very DAY
i genuinely listen to tmg music everyday
dude walkman is so good like what 😭
Solidarity on the "doing things alone" thing!!
I think broke b*tch is my favourite ever 💗
broke bitch is one of my most streamed songs of all time
I’m extroverted and I like going to stuff solo if my friends can’t make it. It’s def a different vibe and I can choose to make friends or just be alone and enjoy wherever I am it’s kinda sick. Obviously better with friends tho
all my friends talk during movies so I love going by myself lol
Going places by yourself is also called growing TF up. I end up meeting people even when I don't want to.
15mil of those 21mil streams of no flex are from me
i went alone to noel’s show in LA, and when he asked for questions i asked him something along the lines of “are there any similarities to racing karts and preping for stand up” and he said “how much adderall did you take ? and you came alone on adderall ? jesus christ … “
Going to the movies by yourself when there's almost no else attending is just the bee's knees.
I felt like this whole clip was roasting me. I just listened to Walkman the other day and I consistently go to concerts/movies/comedy shows alone😅😅
I go to concerts, movies, and eat alone quite often. It is freeing!
Bruh I genuinely listen to Walkman like every week. It still holds up in my book 😂
Walkman holds up what are these guys talking about lmao. Listen to it all the time
Classics.
I listen to walk man on the regular😅 feel like Cody and Noel were just roasting me the whole time this podcast
when does cash get his own show to talk about his relatable solo adventures, id smash that subscribe button so fast
No Flex being done on a microscopic budget is perfect.
I was in a bar in Colorado and walk man came on it was pretty cool
