Tons of great points made, the cake analogy was amazing🍰, but what really hit home for me was the rant, because, I was actually thinking about this while driving today.
If you take time to think about it, it’s kind of crazy how connected X-Galaxy (Simon included) are to the Alphaz community.
Just normal everyday people often struggle with the dynamic and balance of how much to share and keep private on social media platforms, myself included. Yet, XG, whether it’s CZcams, their blog posts, photos, vlogs, IG, TT, and of course music, they go above and beyond with how much they share, giving Alphaz a very up close and intimate look into their daily lives. Maybe they’ve mastered the ability to share so much yet still protect their privacy, but just like you, I’ve often been in awe at how much is shared to the point that I truly feel a connection to them, and probably moreso for you since you got to communicate with them and see them in person.
For example, to a new viewer, seeing Maya just go full force with her lines is amazing at face value, but as a diehard Alphaz, I was (and I’m sure you were you some degree) already thinking of the young trainee in Team C that almost didn’t make it, the support of her teammates and family, the pain, sweat and tears she went through, and the fact that she’s also one of the main rappers, all that passes through your mind in a flash and makes those moments in the song that much more heavy with emotion, so why wouldn’t we be moved to tears? 🥺🥹
Ok, I can easily talk about this stuff for a while, but that was kind of long winded.😅. I guess it’s helping me to stay up for the next live performance lol. Amazing reactions and commentary, thank you!

You put together my thoughts so well cuz I was struggling to talk about the personal part. I was fortunate enough to have seen them both on stage, off stage, and “off work mode”. The amount of things you have to expose as a public artist can get to a concerning point, and I’m so glad they are able to keep their personal space (at least for now, and hopefully for as long as possible). Bringing up the C team gets me emotional again!!! Cuz look at them in this song 😭

貴方の反応を見ると英語を何でもっと学ばなかったか恨めしく思います。笑（これは昔から日本は植民地にならず列強だったから、何故か？ 勤勉で多言語を翻訳してしまう文化があったから英語等を学ばなくても済んでしまったからでもあります。）
Looking at your reaction, I feel bad that I didn't learn more English. LOL (This is because Japan has always been a great power without becoming a colony, so for some reason? It's also because there was a culture of hard work and translating into multiple languages, so there was no need to learn English etc.)
私も同感です。単語は多少理解できても、聞き取りができないのが一般的日本人です。日本の英語教育に問題点がありますね。
例えば車の構造や、標識の意味、交通ルールは理解しても車の運転は上手くならない。ノートとペンだけの学習は実りが少ない。
