  • The history of Prophet Enoch Mgijima:
Enoch Josiah Mgijima (1868-May 3, 1928) was the leader of the Israelites, a religious sect involved in the bloody clash with a contingent of South African police at Bullhoek, a rural African village situated about 25 miles from Queenstown in the Eastern Cape.
The Birth of Prophet Enoch Mgijima:
When Josiah Mgijima decided to move to Ntabelanga, near Queenstown, he was the owner of many sheep, cattle, goats, and horses. At this stage, he only had daughters and longed for a son. He climbed to the top of Ntabelanga mountain and prayed: ‘God you have given me these sheep, cattle, goats, and horses but I have no boy among my children.’ His prayer was answered; his next four children were sons: Josiah, Timothy, Enoch, and Charles.

These are interesting facts that should spread across Africa. In fact, these are facts that should be taught in schools to us Africans(BLACK)- instead of being taught the western history- these historian facts should be fed to us...

True we must be taught this and our generation as black people. It is okay that Enoch is not the founder but He was our own Black Messaih prophet and that should be known amongst Black generation.

Yes agreed my brother you are 100 percent correct I m a member of the Saints of Christ and Church of God here in SA , we all know the history of Prophet William Saunders Crowders that hie was a founder of the church and he wanted to come here in Africa to form the church and spread the word of God but those in power refused in his reply this is what he said or Prophesied " I will lay underneath the earth and wake up in Africa as someone else (in someone else s body) " /"ndizolala kobandayo ndivuke e Africa ndikukumila kumbi" the he was talking about Prophet Enoch Mgijima , so you can't talk about Mgijima without mentioning Crowdey first

True Crowdy and Enoch are the same , it's true when they say when a person dies only body that dies, the spirit moves to the person with your similar attributes. That is my place of birth.....I think I must include this historical part in my book.

Yes true, COGASOC was founded by Prophet William Saunders Crowdy. However, Prophet Enoch J. Mgijima was already a prophet, prophesying, in his own right before joining the church. He was then shown the Church of God and Saints of Christ in his visions.
