I'm not going to say there's any easy answers. There's no magic set of letters, combined into words, that will make sentences, that will, somehow by sorcery, light up your brain to make it all work, to make it all make sense.
If there are, I don't know them.
But what I *do* know, what I've *always* known...
Is that if you don't keep going, even if you have to *crawl*... if you don't keep trying...
      Then you'll never know.
So what we need to do is just get up. Just one more time. Because maybe this time...
Maybe *this* time is the one where we figure it out.
I love you all very much.

It reminds me of a place I thought of as home. A friend was the first, and he gave me a compass to his house. I went there, and he had a little cabin built, away from everyone else. It was at the edge of a valley, the ocean shore to one side while the valley with the river stretched out. The river led to a lake in the middle. It was beautiful.
I made my home across the lake, and it was higher there. You could see so much more from there. My home was different from theirs. Instead of copper and stone bricks, it was moss and cobblestone. We were the only ones for a while. I made a greenhouse, which acted as the farm for a while, and a bridge across the river. They made a barn and apiary.
Eventually one moved in. Then another, and another. We were friends, and helped each other. A bigger farm was made underground, the original becoming a use for flowers.
Eventually, one friend in particular and I were growing distant. I felt like I was being left behind, and I hated that feeling, especially since I saw them as a best friend. I tried to do things to get their attention, to earn their approval. Then we had a falling out. They left every Discord server I was in after I asked for space. There is more to that, but it is not my story to tell.
That place no longer feels like home. Whenever I see snow, I think of that place, then the feeling of being rejected, abandoned, and so many more awful feelings I can't put a name to. Only one stays there now, really. The original friend and I were the main ones to move though. This only took place a few months ago.
I hope one day I can see snow and no longer think of them.

why leave? What makes something as simple as music just ruin the vibe of one game? Sure the game may be scarred forever with this slight but drastic change and people will never forget the betrayal of C418 which inevitably lead to his dismissal from the Minecraft dev team, slowly causing the team to be replaced by newcomers who could ACTUALLY ruin the game itself like adding more and more mods from the marketplace and I fear that for other companies like Nintendo where everything is being controlled very well and isn't changing whatsoever. Minecraft was made with the vast majority of people in mind unlike many other games which just market a specific type of people to do what they wish with the game that has been made. There is no reason to leave when the game is made to be more of a "you decide what you want to do" kind of game which is why it's so beautiful and favorites of many fans. Although it is dissapointing to see the man, the myth, the legend, C418 leave the team, the game is still there, the music is still there, and the memories will continue unless you choose not to even play.
Just listening to the music makes me feel guilty for having a 5 year old version of myself to choose not to play this game and I still have a long ways to go until I can fully understand this game and how it works. You miss it because you chose to turn it off while I missed it because I never turned it on
I truely hope the best for you and appreciate that you, like me, have enjoyed this game at some point and will have nostailga for playing this pure art of a game. But I ask of you to please play with the game again and try the new things created here regardless what your life is in right now, just pick a point where you think is right to have personal time to yourself to play Minecraft for a few minutes and really sink in the contents of the game as a whole.

    Trapped in bleached confines,
    Searching for memories,
    Since long-lost to age's breeze,
    Scattered fragments, moments of time,
Captured scenes stored in a chest of mine.
    Black endermen bark,
    White-washed foxes snark.
    I am alone,
    Cold as a stone.
My memories call out to me.
"We're here," they say. "Open your eyes."
"Where?" I answer. "I cannot see."

Minecraft achieved what no game ever could.
It could take all forms. It was your mountain that you built your house on to get a good view of the lake. It was your ocean that you drained an ocean monument in so that you could repurpose it as you wanted. It was your desert that you built a giant pyramid in because it was simple and magestic. It was the jungle you spent hours to find so that you could get ocelots and cookies. It your ravine that you fell in only to later find your first diamonds as a reward.
But it was also your music that brought you peace when even silence screamed. It was your friends who you couldn't stop thinking about until they were next online. It was your victory as you dealt the last blow to the ender dragon. It was your teacher as you built your first restone contraption. It was your artistic medium as you created your first build. It was your battle as you fought to hold onto your gear deep within the nether. It was your fear as stories of Herobrine struck unease into the hearts of all players. It was your journey as you travelled from village to village, temple to temple, and biome to biome. But most importantly, it was your world with every block you placed, every step you took, dog you tamed, mob you killed, chest you looted, sword you crafted, and tree you chopped.
Created within a world of limitations, Minecraft achieved the unlimited.
As for me? Minecraft was my island, Creeper Island, a name derived from my first death and the beginning of my entire childhood.

I can hardly play Minecraft anymore. I was so much younger when it entered my life.
There were four of us. Best friends- best friends for years. Practically lived at each other's houses. Minecraft was just an essential part of out life back then...thousands of hours invested in building, exploring, modding and adventuring. Now, we've all grown up. No one speaks to each other anymore. Different roads, different paths. We just grew into different people.
But whenever I hear the songs, especially from java minecraft, my mind goes back to those days. It feels like, in that moment, I'm living in a limbo of my current life and my past one. Like at any second, we're all about to be together, lan-partying, logging on to our current favorite world, but then, I simultaneously realize what's actually happening, and those days are long past.
I miss those days. I miss being younger and untainted by the pressures of life or the expectations of society. It's so much easier to be friends in a setting like that. But even the closest friends can gently float away, and in a sense, it's only natural. Growing up. Growing in different direction towards different sources of light.
I really cherish those times, but the residual memories tacked on to the game are sometime more than I can, or want to handle.
Still, I love Minecraft. There aren't many pieces of media or "entertainment" I'd accredit for influencing my development, but Minecraft is definately one.

Minecraft sure has changed, from hunger bars to enchantments to the end, nether fortresses and potions, boats and villager trading. This game is truly timeless, every new and old age can enjoy it. I don't know the reason they let us go back to previous versions. Nostalgia? Under the table support of mods that can't move up? Because they can? It doesn't really matter, but this is one feature that allows us to travel back and experience what was once again. Personally I can't last long in that environment, just five minutes and I start thinking "Why am I doing this all over again? I've done it already" and I start wanting something new. We move on, but that's not necessarily a bad thing and it doesn't mean we have to completely. Maybe we can't enjoy this game like we used to, but we can help others along that same path. We can live through these times again through new people, children, adults, it matters little as long as they're having fun just like we did. Except they have the added protection of having us around to guide them should they ask us
To be truly indifferent to time, you must be willing and able to accept all people of different times. I think I'm done rambling

Minecraft, and its music will always hold a special place in my heart

In the world of blocks and squares,
A memory from a distant time,
A place where I could roam,
And lose myself in play sublime.
    In Minecraft's wondrous world,
I found a solace in my youth,
A time of innocence and peace,
Where dreams and hopes could take truth.
    With every block I placed,
And every mine I dug deep,
I felt a sense of purpose,
And a world that was mine to keep.
But now the world has changed,
And my heart is filled with yearning,
For that time of pure delight,
When Minecraft was my world's turning.
Oh, how I long to go back,
To that place of purest joy,
To build and play without a care,
Like when I was just a boy
For though the world may move on,
And time may pass me by,
    My heart will always treasure,
Those Minecraft days, with a sigh.

I remember when I was ?12? I played minecraft and I always tried to find the best place for building my house in a snow forest. Once I found one, It was near frozen lake, I build an igloo and tree house above it. Also there was two dogs and cats living with me, I loved them so much, we had a lot adventures together. I was almost prepared to beat the dragon, but something happened ( probably I accidentlly deleted the world) and I couldn`t continue the game anymore. I was sad((

So, if you think those days were good, grow up to be good parents, so that you can raise kids that can enjoy a good childhood too. Follow traditional values, put yourselves through trials, grow and become strong so that you can be someone who proves they cherish the good in the world.

when I was younger, I used to wait for my brother's to come back from school, we'd hop on the PS3 in my tiny bedroom, that barely fit my bed and nightstand in, we'd play Minecraft until mum called us down for dinner. we'd eat, and then go back on. making random worlds, blowing eachother up with TNT, raiding villages, fighting the enderdragon, building stupid things. sometimes we'd play with my cousin aswell. we all had this one world, it was a city we all built, I remember my brother's helping me build my house, and me wanting it all to be pink so I could find it, I remember helping them make the football stadium, a concert hall, a whole underground train (Minecraft) system, I remember my pet dog called grim (after DanTDM 's MC dog). I really do miss it. both my brother's have since moved out, gotten jobs, had kids, etc. I'm about to go collage, my cousin is about to go collage too. I remember taking the PS3 to my dads, and playing Minecraft with him aswell, he didn't really understand it, but he was good at the little minigames they had. my dad passed away last year, so this playlsits has made me very emotional thinking back to these times.. thank you notch and mojang for letting me have some of my happiest memories

I used to have a world, we’re I played for over 7 years, my second world that I build purely by imagination and survival, it was a giant city of art, many people visited the world in its lifespan, many left their mark there in any possible way. Back in my prime I used to create a lot of incredible things, that put many of my friends and the friends of my friends into awe, not just them but any who got to see what I build. The cathedrals i build, the cities I designed, everything I did from the bottom of my heart just to amaze others, even got to work for some servers back then, but now all of it is gone, my worlds, the name I used to have. All of the creation is gone, nothing but memories remain to this day and maybe some scraped old pictures in someone’s gallery of older, greater times. The shrines are darkened, cities engulfed with dirt, cathedrals broken down and abandoned in the alleys of snow and ice, final moments in the wonderland with respectful title, surrounded with loving company of former friends, starring at the skies of symmetrical shape, recalling everything that ever happened and awaiting its final moment until the old world disappears, our time is up now it’s turn for others, the air is scorched and the plain is cleaned. Youngsters the brand new world said is awaiting for you they said, our time is up but for you it’s still only the beginning, don’t know when don’t know where, but for sure we’ll meet again some sunny day

There exists a memory that returns from time to time. It was the first survival world I had in Minecraft pocket edition, back when the nether reactor was a thing. I made a small house in the side of one of the two hills in this snowy spruce valley, an empty block for a window, and no door. The memory has no sound, as I gazed out the window into the snowing valley where a single cow prattled along through the sparsely wooded area.
The visuals and vibes reminded me more of this than the rest.

I remember a place, there was a bay. A sandy bar artificially extended by my brother. Facing the ocean stood a three-story beach house. To its right an enchanted forest with a coral path with a mangrove gazebo. Farther yonder, an old church with a forest watchtower with the etable. To its left was a storage tent and another home of acacia and copper. Underneath it was a sandstone labyrinth lined with oxidized copper and hidden traps. Across the horizon from the beach house was the blue bay with the iconic lighthouse that guided adventuring ships back to shore.
Memories were had there. That was truly a special place.

You've grown. You've become a better person. You've become the grown up your childhood self dreamed of all those years ago. Looking back, you were just having fun, making memories along the way. Memories that will influence your adult life, to remind you that everything in the world isn't bad, to remind yourself that you can enjoy things.
You've moved to a new chapter in your life. I look at it as living in the new set of memories I'll look back on once again in another 10 years.

My most fondest memories about this game was probably when I went on Little Big Planet 2 and used the join random lobbies feature just to ask random people if they wanna play with me, suprisingly a lot of people did have minecraft and agreed to play with me.
Sometimes it was a one off play and some were friends that I kept talking to with for months if not years
I have so many good memories with them... one where we built a big city with a Shopping Mall that was 500x300 blocks on legacy edition which had no commands so that was a huge goal for us
Or a friend where we were acting like idiots and did goofy roleplays acting as cavemen on survival or doing a samurai city mash-up pack roleplay
I also had 2 friends with which I played a lot of survival and we made such a great survival game together... we even started inviting others so that we could make the town bigger and jesus that was so great. I remember when we made parties for our birthdays in the game playing the living tombstone songs, throwing cakes and placing them everywhere just having a great time... sadly after few years those 2 friends really started hating each other and I had to make a choice... stay with one of the friends, it was a painful choice but I was 11 years old I didn't see any other options rather then leave behind one friend. I made the wrong choice and stayed with the toxic friend that started that split but after a year or two I went back to the second friend apologized for what I did
While typing this comment I realized one thing... even though most of these friendships didn't last I still got amazing memories with them and that's only because I searched for people online...
These days I mostly sticked with my elementary school friend and he introduced me to a person that I now consider a friend as well
and honestly I feel like I have been way more shy than before... maybe I should start joining more communities and find more people to play with? It wouldn't hurt and I might find some new friends along the way? While writing this comment I realized how many memories I made with people by just asking random people if they wanna hang out... I should begin doing that again...

I do remember this place, a snowy tundra on a Legacy Console Edition world. My brother and I built a house together, he had the downstairs and I had the upstairs. It was a small, messy house, but it was one of the few worlds we would both play on. Sometimes we would add on to the house. I used cobble to build a small castle in the mountains with hallways and windows looking out to the snowy plains. We then built a pathway leading to the castle surrounded by wooden walls to keep monsters out, and torches to keep the place dry. Back then snow had the tendency to build up over time, and the fact it was now three blocks deep just showed how much we played on that world. With a flash drive I was able to download the world, along with many others and their memories, from our damaged Xbox, as I could not get the disc reader to work anymore. My Xbox One Series S has no idea what they are and cannot load them, and my computer only lets me edit them. Soon I will buy a working Xbox 360, if possible, and revisit what my childhood was built upon. If not, I can only hope Xbox 360 emulators are easy to find.
These days it seems Mojang and/or Microsoft makes requests as little as this harder to grant.

Me and my brother used to built houses, railways, shops. And we used to travel throught the world of pixels and there were no Pillagers, shields, bees and things like that. We've always had a dog in our house. I would always spend time on building houses up to the skies and experement with villagers and zombies. (It sounds cruel :_)) and collect things from my farm in the sky and expand my land in the sky. We won't talk about bedwars. My grandmother (Who is dead now) used to always tell me that I would make my vission go worse (She spoke facts) but i didn't care. As long as i win in bedwars, I am the happiest child. Created my first world, waited until it’s night, log off, forget about the world, log in, wonder why it’s night, I get traumatised because I was in survival mode and it was dark with all the monsters trying to kill me, accidentally went into 3rd person mode and I thought the Steve in front of me was a different player in my world, I tried following the player not realising it was me in 3rd person mode. Overall total chaos. After this I went on to create more random worlds just trying to explore the hidden beauty in all of them… I don’t think much of this made sense for you but for me, that memory is clear as sunlight… *good times*
