Sid Draper - National Championships (SA vs Allies)

Sid was solid but not spectacular in his first champs outing for 2024. My guess is that he's still searching for match fitness and form after his long injury layoff - he had a strong opening half before fading out of the game and there was a lot of hands on head or knees sucking in the big ones in the second half. His defensive efforts in particular we poor at times.

Sid Draper - 180cm midfielder. Dynamic Inside/outside game with the clean hands and power to win it and burst clear of the congestion to find space for a higher quality disposal. Was the best player for SA at the U18 Champs as a bottom ager, probably BOG in each of the four games and being named in the all-australian team.

Crows must trade up to get this kid. Would love sharp too but he’ll go at 1 next year no chance there.

I agree with both your points. I think Draper would be perfect for the crows, and this season it should be easier to trade up into a higher pick.
Sharp is an elite talent for next season, likely pick 1 in my mind.
