as a guitar composer for bk trailers that's included batman and who also mimics guitar, I loved your performance here since you skillfully make a recognizable cover which also bestows a heroic sense which vital to that character. Then when you hit those keys in the higher octave and speed up the tempo. your performance is so captivating. Truly inspiring!

Yep, the whole track is based around elements from Elfman's original. Michael Giacchino (the composer) did the same thing with his score for Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far Frome Home using the classic Spider-Man TV show intro.

Super Brilliant. Batman sure's going to be amazing! This piano version is perfect for that background track when Bruce is looking at his parents photo in his mansion remembering them. I think the piano version will blend well in that situation. I think this is the best proper way to create a cover. AtinPiano Rocks!

For anyone surprised by the gravity and difference of the sound, its not JUST the piano (or the trailer). The Batman trailer track was tuned to 432 HZ. I dont think the original song is.

@@tylercronan5089 The Batman trailer title sound just hit me so uniquely I had to reproduce it. "How did they do that" just went through my mind. Thankfully my kawai piano is digital and allows for easy tuning tweaks once I realized they retuned it. As I don't have absolute pitch I realized it pretty soon when I was sure I had found the notes but just didn't sound right. From there it was quickly found :)

Keep in mind that playing songs like these requires a certain degree of skill. Just because a song was already written doesn't mean you'll "magically" learn how to play it. So yes, based on the skill Atin has exhibited in the past and in this song, I indeed AM able to say he's good.

I personally think there was no better choice of songs, this song shows how dark Batman's life has been and will continue to be as the movie is suppose to take place during his second year of being a vigilante. Its that dark sound of hope for a better future, but with the bitterness of whats actually to come, death, chaos, and pain.

Before ya'll start commenting about how this sounds like a specific video game theme. It's because this song has a simple chord progression, with only two chords, as Kurt wasn't good at guitar, but was good with song writing. The easiest nirvana song, and the last. Still one of their greatest hits.
Oh please just because this song basically has 2 chords has nothing to do with Kurt's ability to play the guitar. He wasn't a guitar god but he was pretty good at playing..
i think in order to create the songs he made, he had to be somewhat good at guitar. And i can feel his pain in this song so well, and it goes to show the absolute magnitude at which he could portray emotion with lyricism. He was good at a lot, he was an overall great guy
