A stop at Kyparissia 1974

Description:
Kyparissia is a coastal town with a port, which is administratively part of the Municipality of Trifylia and is located northwest of the Prefecture of Messinia.

Arriving at our destination we see in the background the mountain Egaleo or Psychro, at the foot of which the town is amphitheatrically built and in the foreground a tavern owner places tables and chairs with a wonderful view of the port at the Ionian Sea, but also the city and Mountain. The cinematographer's companion enjoys her ouzo, with meze feta and olives.
A plan on a city street and a stop in its main square, where children dance traditional dances, as the trip took place on March 25 (when Greece celebrates the revolution of 1821 against the Turkish occupation), while the building of the Holy Diocese of Trifylia and Olympia dominates the background.
